For example, being used, lied to, ripping me off, physically harming. They got away with purposefully harming me at various points in my life, I wasn't able to confront people from small to very bad abuses back then, because I was weak, and bad people target weak people (who were made weak because they came from an abusive past). Now it's too late to get in their face, but I don't want them to pass through their life without knowing, I want them to worry about THEIR karma.

I would like to completely forget some events that happened this year. They say every experience makes you stronger and grow but some bad experiences only traumatize. Can hypnosis block out these bad events from my mind? I see in movies that the reverse can be done.

The whole "Life every day as if it's your last" certainly does not apply to me. If that was the case, I'd spend so much time and energy trying to make every day amazing...a feat that is difficult if not impossible. Instead, I try to be fairly relaxed, with the realization that I cannot accomplish much in one day's time, and that there are (hopefully) many days in the future that will allow me to continue my goals. Who else prescribes to this fairly laid back way of life?

Here are my suggestions for Hillary's campain people.
when being pounded on by all the other canidates during the debates she should do what jfk would do during his press conferences when asked a difficult question- pause reflect on the question, smile then give a answer. also, simple ? give a complex answer, a complex ? give a simple answer. Use humor when possible to make a point against your rivals.

Does this mean that we all have our individual opinions of what faces and bodies we are drawn/attracted to? That while one guy may think Angelina Jolie is beautiful, another guy may prefer Gweneth Paltrow or Jennifer Aniston? Don't you think it may have something to do with feeling or sensing a romantic chemistry with someone when you look at their photo? That you can sense someone's personality behind the face? For example, when paging through on-line dating photos, aren't we drawn to some faces but not others because we can sense the person's personality behind the face through the photo? So with this concept, not all men would find a slim woman with a good fashion sense, nice hair, good skin tone, pleasant face and sexy body beautiful? Isn't there some standard of beauty? Some guy I know was trying to tell me that not all men would find Jessica Alba attractive and not all women would find Tom Cruise attractive. Or does someone become more beautiful if you feel chemistry with them?

It's hard to explain...but even though I like myself, whenever I see people on TV, or girls like me doing so much and succeed so much, it makes me jealous. Like I really want to be them and I envy them. How do I stop these feelings?

I really abhor this place (I'm at a college all by myself). I mean I can't even explain, I wouldn't have enough room. But I'm leaving thankfully in December. I'm so0o depressed that I have to stay this long here. I tried to get out in the meantime, make some friends, uplift my spirits, but something terrible happens to me everytime I try. So I stay to myself to avoid problems, and now I feel incredibly lonely and depressed and so fed up. I don't know what to do, can anyone help? :(

Why are some guys very mean to girls?I'm an Asian girl & most of my girlfriends are Asian too.One of my classmates who's from New Zealand tends to be very rude towards us girls especially. He seems to think we're beneath us & usually talks to us using words such as freak,*****,dirt & so on.Making fun of us is one of his favourite pastimes as well(usually taking the joke too far)

This is making us miserable & driving us crazy. We don't know how to stop him.Is there anything we can do?Or is there at least an explanation for such behaviour?

Thanks.

p.s. we're all 17/18 yrs old & attending school just for the info.

Let's say we 'work' together. We do competitive work on a variety of projects. These are 'aqaintances', thought they were 'friends' but with what they are doing I guess they made it clear they arent.

I am praised for work. I usually get the benefits from every project. They so called 'friends' are now excluding me and blowing me off. In front of eachother they jest and make smart comments about me like i'm not even there and cant hear them. They have also COPIED and STOLE my work and tried to pass it off as their own. Plagerism shall we say. Even after 'plagarizing' they still failed on the project. I guess the person who decided thought it still wasnt as good as mine or they noticed it was my work.

If they are trying to copy my work and follow my lead why are they mocking and exluding me at the same time?

Also I helped this 'friend' with one project and basically did it for him- the rest of the crew had nothing to do with it and afterwards he goes and thanks them & leavs me

Does the brain assimulate routines with time "flyling by"? After all, we tend to get more "routined" as we get older, and maybe the brain associates that with time "flying by"

I'm studying Human resource development.
I don't understand the difference between task and skill exactly.
They say task means activities; skill means behaviors.
What is the difference between task and skill?
Are there absolute differences between task and skill ?
or just relative differences?
I'm confused. help me!!!
Thanks in advance.

Here's the story in short-version. I had a crappy childhood: molested by my biological dad. I allowed my past to dictate my life until now: have absolutely no friends (real or acquaintances to hang out) because I have trust issues. I want friends but can't seem to make any because I'm a full time nursing student and part-time worker. I never have time for myself because I'm sacrificing for my education. My family is having a party right now in the house: full of co-workers, relatives, close family and friends...while I'm stuck in my ******* room writing a 20-30 page dissertation on a sick patient which is something I do every Sunday: its mandatory. I turn 24 this month and I don't want to quit on life but I feel as though I've had the short end of the stick all throughout my ******* life! I can't take it anymore and I want it to change. And...I know ya de ya de ya, I am the person that needs to make the change. Yes I know what I need to do to see change but sometimes...

Dose anyone else think that instant-gratification has become like crack in our society?

Think about. Once people get that first hit (sex, money, looks ect) they're hooked. All they do now is function off that high. And when its starts to wear down. Once they stop getting that instant gratifcation. They're consumed with getting their next FIX. . . By any means necessarily! Even if it means hurting someone.

And like any "drug" when that kind of cycle starts to continue, its beings to spiral out of control until finally, we just hit rock bottom. Socially, spiritually, mentally, ethically whatever.

Is that a right analogy to use or not?

I'm writing an essay about the sideof us that we was humans usually conceal in order to find acceptance. I need some examples to back this statement up.

I only have 1 example so far, which is that guys don't usually cry in public or cry at all, so that they will be accepted in society.
