Join a group that teaches this. I recommend toastmasters international. It's a public speaking group that teaches you to be confident with speaking and interacting with others.

Obtain some confidence, seek professional help or just practice with those you are close with and can conversate with confortably. If not, then simply practice in front of a mirror (when no one is around) and record some topics.

Hang in there because I'm still right there with you, and what I had to do was just talk with confidence and know your stuff and I kind of got pressured to talk in public, of hundreds.

Start out small and gradually move on to bigger talks now because it is very hard if you have to do what I had to. Good luck and don't eat anything if you know you're going to...well just belive in yourself and take note on what the other contributors had to say too.

Read magazines covering a verse topic of things, record yourself as you read and give your opinion on what you think. This way you can hear what you sound like and can improve what you feel needed. Also look at the news and again record you feed back. This will keep you up to date with what is going on. You should know what proper English sounds like if not enroll in some kind of proper English class. But must of important always be yourself.

I have had a best friend all my life so we socialized each other. But maybe you could just start off by reading simple books out loud. Get to know your own voice pattern and how you sound out loud. Get a harder book and read that one out loud as well, then read to yourself in a mirror and look up as you do so.You will soon get to know your expressions.
When you are comfortable knowing what you look like and what you sound like, Go over to head start and read to them. The are such cute and social human beings. They don't judge each other or you :) They just want to play and be read to.
the week after that join Toast Masters and you are on your way...
good luck to you and HAVE FUN !!!
