actually I'm such a cry baby
every time i feel sad or mad at somebody I will cry to relieve myself..
But i know this is a bad way to express or to let go all of your sadness and pain..
Do you know any other way to prevent crying?

Met a girl months ago & kept in contact even though she moved to another country
She had invited me on a trip but I couldn't go due to work
I later visited her & we became a bit closer but no chat about
our feelings
She contacted me &I invited her to visit me, she said she would, but that it's hard to find me at home (as I often head off travelling)
I invited her again & she said she would come once she gets
free time..she has a heavy study load
Next time I asked her if she could get some time off & she asked me for how long I will be around.
I told her I'd be around for a few mths & she said she has a vac'n coming up though she's thinking of visiting her parents but she then said 'we'll see'.
One more thing, she told me one time a few mths ago by chat that she was falling for me.

incredible feelings of irritability and disgust when exposed to this person? Does the chemistry actually affect how one feels about the other or is it the improper treatment to the other that causes such feelings?

Having lived in America, I was SHOCKED by the level of ignorance from the people. They are all so programmed and know NOTHING about the rest of the world. I was tired of being asked stupid questions about England like "do you have to stand in line for your food" 'Do you have Christmas in England" 'I bet your overwhelmed seeing what we have here" I went all over the country and to my disappointment discovered that people were equally as stupid everywhere.

in a few of my questions this guy http://answers.yahoo.com/my/profile;_ylt=AoM9qmDiDP112LxcIaec9on27BR.;_ylv=3?show=AA11284138 (imparcial)
has been insulting me with his answer. although it would be mildly amusing had it not been directed at me why do you think he is doing it. surely this is the place to ask questions without fear of being ridiculed. is he a lonely lost unhappy man? is he going through a divorce? maybe he has realised he is attracted to the same sex?? what do you think.

What are some books/theorists I can read that discuss how an individual does not fully complete a developmental stage (such as not resolving their adolescent stage) and how does one go back and resolve the issues at this stage in order to successfully complete the tasks of the succeeding stages?

I talk to myself. Like, almost like i'm talking to another person. Its weird.

like, when i'm upset, and panic-ie and stuff, or if i'm keeping myself from hurting myself, i'll start talking to myself trying to figure out what's bothering me. Sometimes i'm just upset though. no reason. But sometimes i'm realy being bothered by something and if i realize why i'm upset, i'll start feeling better.

weird? idk...

are you the type of person who is naturally inclined to help people when they are in trouble? would you risk your neck in a heartbeat to save someones life if it came to it?

or are you the type of person who's first reaction to a crisis is to save yourself first and worry about everyone else later.. if at all?

i was watching The King of Queens earlier, and the guy [i dont know his name] and his wife were on a plane that was just landing. The plane sort of landed a little roughly and a couple oxygen masks dropped down. The guy instantly shoved his mask onto his face and started sucking on the air like crazy.. even though they were perfectly fine and the plane already on the ground.
His wife's mask didnt drop down.
Even though it was a perfectly safe landing, had it been a real catastrophe it was clear that he would saved just his own life and not given any thought to his wife that was sitting right next to him.

Now.. are you like that guy?

or are you the opposite??

Lots of people scream and get horrified at supernatural type movies where green ooze flows out of aliens or eyes bulge out and explode and so on. On the other hand, lots of movies might show horrifying but realistic scenes of someone being stabbed or raped or tortured, but the production values aren't F/X or hyped or exaggerated. Which type of scene in a movie scares you more, and why?

After i get an anxiety attack, i feel strange.
Like i am empty and numb and everything arround me is fake.

It feels like i am looking at the world through blurry glass.
And i'm watching everyone else on a stage and im the only one in the audience.
It makes me feel so alone and it goes on for hours sometimes..

Is this a symptom of anxiety?

Sometimes I am the center of attention, because my personality is attractive, and sometimes i am invisible, because i become suddenly quiet. I've been aware of this and I've noticed a few feelings I have when each situation occurs.

When center of attention: I have lots of energy, I am not aware of myself (meaning I am not analyzing my behavior at the moment)

When quiet: I have no energy, My mind is blank (meaning if I wanted to socialize I wouldn't be able to conjure up a single comment), and as a result I think i am very incapable of socializing.

From my details is this a symptom i have, or a simple matter of whether I have lots of energy or not? And, I its a matter of energy, what would you recommend for me to constantly have lots of energy? I appreciate the help

From early childhood I have had intense fear that wells up and sabotages my efforts by attacking my drive and confidence. I have tried to deal with it in the past by 1. seeking refuge in laughter and 2. willpower, but willpower will take you only so far when resisting a force like this in the long term and when dealing with others in a 'forced' way. Does anyone have any insights that might help me to lose this fear?

I have a dreadful fear of making mistakes in all areas of my life. It hampers my progress in all of my activities, from drawing to simply trying to learn something. I often refrain from trying new things because I don't want to mess up.
The thought of making a mistake in anything terrifies me. It's gotten worse over the years. I seem to have an avoidant personality and I sometimes find myself being an "escapist". I don't dabble in drugs, but I do other things to escape like listening to music, exercising, playing guitar, watching TV, etc.
in order to avoid doing something where I can I possibly make a mistake or where an inadequacy could be exposed. I don't know why it terrifies me so much. It is irrational. I consider myself a pretty rational person, but this seems to be an area where I cannot help but behave irrationally.
How does this disorder originate? How can I get over it?

Einstein had a hard time remembering his address and had a hard time doing other easy things. I know someone who is advanced in math and can solve the rubiks cube, but it takes him way to long to put his shoes on, he has a hard time applying logic to real world situations and has a hard time talking to people. Why is this?
