My life has value because I am here. I do not need to seek out the value of my life because it is intrinsic in being alive.
My main goal, as most humans, is to survive and procreate. Humans have some basic needs that become their goals. Food, shelter, procreation, companionship, and belief in a higher being.

I don't think there is a main goal and value to your life. Values are created by yourself for yourself, and over your life you create the goals and values you see as most important. For me at the moment I know my main goals to be to finish my university degree and get into a Phd scholarship, perfect the japanese art of kendo, and flamenco guitar technique..... only the first one is achievable in my life time, and therefore my goals that i have created for myself are never ending.
Value of my life? I don't know what you mean by value, so here are two answers:
1) $6.95 a gallon
2) My ultimate value in life will be remembered as that guy who annoyed everyone by pointing out their flaws and claiming it was to help them ;)

Right now the main goal of my life is money. If I had money, I would value my life.

Yes, I am no longer seeking and searching, When I asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart and save me it was like a burden was lifted off of me. My soul is at rest, Life still has its problems but inside I can deal with it now, the normal daily problems don't upset me no more, I just smile, and I lay down at night and sleep in peace.

I think that's a process, not something you do only once! We develop as persons. The things I needed and wanted ten years ago are not the same as today.
