Now, I am looking for a new job & will probably take a few months before I find something good. In the meantime, I am at a job I hate - it's boring, my boss is a moron, the rest of the people are all boring, & the company is going nowhere fast. In fact, I'm hoping it closes & they lay me off.

My real question is how do I make it through each day? I dread coming to work each day. I have nothing to look forward with this job.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

I don't remember anything else about the dream, other than last 'seeing' deep cracks running down some walls, probably in my bedroom. Can anyone tell me the hidden meaning of this dream?

Last weekend my kids were at their father's house, which is along the shore of a bog in the back. The kids (17, 13), their dad and stepmom were all outside doing yardwork and what not. They saw two teenagers go into the bog after a soccer ball. One of them panicked as they were getting out at the far end of the bog. There was nothing my kids or their dad and stepmom could have done in time, but they did call 911. How do I comfort them, even if they seem "fine"?

Last night I had a dream that my girlfriend and I were engaging in sexual activity, in the dream it grossed me out and I told her to stop and she got mad at me. I don't understand why I would dream we were having sex when I am not sexually attracted to her? Confused.

Dont you think its a beautiful thing when you finally learn that its ok to not actually care what people think of you. I think this comes with age and im glad i have finally found it liberating that when one of my collegues makes me feel like an idiot - i sit back, smile and forgive them - At least i will never be that ugly or have to go home to their vile kids. Do you have similar thoughts at work?

i read the blogs and look at the albums of people i have a love-hate relationship with, people like ex's and people who were once friends. i can't help but do this regularly. it's even weirder because i don't bother looking at the blogs and albums of friends that are closer to me at the moment.

is this weird?

Nowadays, if you can multi-task, it means you're more productive. Your employer will like you, and they can dump more work on you blah blah blah. You multi-task at work and get the jobs done, great. Your boss is happy and so is your pocket. However, I think multi-tasking is a bad habit to some extent because the more you multi-task, the more it becomes a habit, and you eventually will lose the ability to concentrate and focus. You will end up multi-tasking in your personal life and end up can't get anything done then we complain to people why we can't do/get this and that. A habit can be good and very evil. To get what we desire, concentration is vital. What do you think in your opinion?

I was talking to a friend of mine who was talking about stereotypes. And the way he put it made it seem like if he acted a certain way people would think less of him. So he actually strives to not do certain things (even if they just happen to be coincidences). Isn't that control in some sense?
