Nowadays, if you can multi-task, it means you're more productive. Your employer will like you, and they can dump more work on you blah blah blah. You multi-task at work and get the jobs done, great. Your boss is happy and so is your pocket. However, I think multi-tasking is a bad habit to some extent because the more you multi-task, the more it becomes a habit, and you eventually will lose the ability to concentrate and focus. You will end up multi-tasking in your personal life and end up can't get anything done then we complain to people why we can't do/get this and that. A habit can be good and very evil. To get what we desire, concentration is vital. What do you think in your opinion?

Big-time multi-tasking is what has so many, many people in psychiatrist's offices. It means stressed-out, burned-out, and even physical ailments. Be careful not to overdo.

Multi-tasking is good.. But as you said earlier, it is bad, when your are forcing yourself into it. An employer should not be abusive, if a task is given and done efficiently, he should be satisfied. Because if he is forcing his employee to do multi-tasking, his employee may do it right for now but eventually it will not last and ended to be a haggard person. Love multi-tasking, but never be mastered by it.

multi-tasking is a good habit and we can keep it up but don't let that force the employees or boss to take advantage of you. Concentration is obviously vital.

True multi-tasking means you are able to concentrate on more than one thing at a time. It means being able to switch your focus very easily from one thing to another and still being able to do it efficiently and well. Multi-tasking does not mean you have attention deficit disorder.

Speeding, road rage, swerving around the slowasses, riding too close. But I never had a wreck until last summer when some guy hit a car behind me and created a 4-car pile up with me in the front of the line.
