Could you describe the feeling right before going on a binge. Also what goes through your mind before, during and after.

(Don't have to answer these):
How long have you had this disorder?
Are your friends aware? Do you have support?
Any triggers?
Have you binged today?
What was the longest amount of time you were binge free?
Are you getting help?
How would your life be different w/o COE?

Has anyone ever seen or heard of someone who was emotionally/verbally abusive changing their ways. Either through therapy, divine intervention, or otherwise?

What do you think the world would be like if the majority of people in the word were mentally retarded, just enough so that if someone who was not retarded made a mean joke about them The retarded person wouldn't get it and wouldn't care.

Personally I hope this is the next step in evolution :)

Do you all think 2 Type B's (both easy-going) would make a better couple, or a type A & B combination would make a better one?

Personally, as a Type B, I feel I'd be much better off with another type B just becoz we have so much in common and can "get" each other. I have been dating a Type A, who is so ambitious and rushed, and although they say opposites attract, I feel, long-term wise, I am not feeling it, just coz we are so different! I always feel so rushed with him.

Thoughts?

As a result I don’t put my heart into most things and end up not doing as well as I could. I also end up taking more time to complete relatively simple tasks because by taking 'shortcuts' I have only made things more difficult. It is not that I am incapable of achieving certain levels of success. In fact I have had my IQ tested professionally and it scores as highly above average at 140. However socially I feel very much like an outsider, I spend vast amounts of time alone and don’t really have an outlet with people who seem to share my interests so part of my brain is actively overcompensating for this. Yet ironically if I am doing something that will benefit another person it is the opposite, I tend to excel at tasks and pay great attention to detail when the end reward will be bestowed upon someone other than me. I don’t think very much of myself at a very deep level. This has come out in my writing before. What I want to know is, how can I get myself to care and try harder at tasks?

Isn't the withdrawal of life support systems as a last wish in a sense the same as assisted suicide as a last wish?

Perky, perfect Carolyn and her Alpha Omega Pi sisters plan to win Sorority of the Year by impressing the Greek Council with a killer charity: coaching mentally challenged athletes for the regional Challenged Games. When Carolyn's assigned to coach Pumpkin she's terrified at first, but soon sees in him something she's never seen before: a gentle humanity and honest clarity that touches her soul. To the horror of her friends and Pumpkin's overprotective mother, Carolyn falls in love, becoming an outcast in the process. As Carolyn's "perfect life" falls apart, Pumpkin teaches her that perfect isn't always perfect after all.

It's maybe easy for us to jugde that someone's smart. But how about yourself? How do you know that you're smart?

People told me that I'm smart, I work hard, I always got good marks, but I actually I've never thought that I'm smart. I always think that I'm a lazy girl, I didn't work that hard, I always regret that I can't get a better score, I think that I'm just stupid.

What can I do?

This is something I have struggled with my whole life. I feel worthless or depressed unless I have a girlfriend or a woman who is giving me attention. I am wondering if this is just the way things are or if there are actually people out there who are happy without this validation??

I'm 21 and I do not drive. I have a lot of anxiety so I worry about the littlest things for a long time. I have a fear of driving like I think about every little aspect of it and how I could get hurt or harm someone else. I went to see a psychiatrist about it and told him how I want to drive because it would mean more independence. Then he was talking about me moving out of my house and into an apartment because I do not want to dorm at school (he was getting ahead of himself). I feel like I need medicine to help me. I shy away from social situations and when I am in them with people I don't know my face turns red. All he focused on was me going to take the test to get my license and getting a driving instructor. I'm like my parents tell me to take the test all the time and I am paying him $20.00 to tell me that. How can him just saying do this and do that help me? Should he have discussed the problem with me further?
