Wow, so many great answers!

BONSAI, I knew you'd sneak in and find me away from R&S (how'd you know?!). In so many ways, you already know me. I'm floored by your answer. Where have you been all my life my friend? I cannot accept your last sentence, for I am not worthy of any compliment, the glory goes to Jesus and Him alone. But I thank you for your heartfelt reply. For your response, I proudly give you ten lumpias 8^D... {{{BONSAI HUG}}}

Well, other than the health challenge of Hemochromotosis, which is a too much iron in the blood, due to improper dietary iron metabolism.....LOl get it? IRON..Magnetic......actually it is not a funny disease,I know someone who has this condition....

Anyhow....I can goof around first....because I got to this question about 3 1/2 hours late.

To me a magnetic personality first involves one who smiles often...this practice alone draws people...further,a person who is friendly to all that they come in contact with and are almost instantly able to read the other individual and meet them at their point of need or interest....This type of person is able to speak into another's life, while accepting them for who they are and cause them to change for the good....I remember a movie that starred,Helen Hunt and Jack Nicholson, called "As Good As It Gets"...I'll never forget the one line by J.N....when he said: "You make me want to be better"(speaking to Helen Hunt)...not sure If you know what I am saying...but anyhow...... Other qualifications would include,a positive attitude, and one who is an encourager... who honors others even above themselves

In all sincerity,someone like...you.

People who are magnetic possess a very strong sense of "self". They also have the ability to make others smile and feel good about themselves. They do this through humor (telling a good story, making light of an otherwise serious situation, etc.), eye contact and giving appropriate compliments.

Charismatic people have an ability to mirror the mannerisms and thinking patterns of the people they interact. This helps the charmer rapidly build trust with the other person. It's been proven that humans are more readily persuaded by people they like, trust, and respect.

The Holy Spirit abiding in them
You do not always know what it is
Yet there is something there you may not be able to put your finger on
It is a drawing magnet
That same spirit will draw us to Christ Jesus at the second coming
The spirit quickens whom he wills

What a great question. I have known many people who just have the knack for drawing people to them. I think it is the ability to make people feel good about themselves - usually through acceptance and laughter.

I read BONSAI's answer, somehow its really a magnetic answer. In my opinion James Bond's dynamic character is the best answer.

They have a light that follows then and I think this comes from the core of their soul and their winning, happy, kind ways.

An outgoing personality.........someone who is 'easy to know'.......someone who is not afraid to be their own person and express their own selves. A person with a sense of humor.

Folks that are laid back are hard for me to get to know, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to know them!

initially, it's physical appearance. after interpersonal communication it's sex-appeal (in the sense of personality, self-confidence, openess) and how that person makes you feel.
