Nooo, fairly sure weakness is a negative trait, trying to enhance such a failing will just get you walked all over.
That's not to mistake open feelings as being similar to a weakness. Openness and honesty is only viewed as a flaw by cruel, self-centered, manipulative and egotistical people.
Soften your soul and harden your mind, yep. And don't let the b'ds take you for a ride.
You run into shady ground with genuinely amoral people though.

i think to have any type of meaningful change in our lives (including learning from mistakes; going through treatment, etc.), we have to allow ourselves to be vulnerable.... not sure if that is what you mean by "weak."
actually, i'd say allowing yourself to be vulnerable & open w/ someone or even w/ yourself is courageous.... it's scary, change is difficult. it is much easier to do the things we have always done, to go about our lives in the way we always have -- even if we know it is unhealthy -- than to make changes. if we keep doing things the old way, at least we know what to expect. change is unpredictable. that is why so many people stay stuck in the same patterns.

I would say yes. I notice that people overcompensate for their vulnerabilities by being untruthful about themselves or being aggressive towards others. Maybe if one accepts their weaknesses, and learns to live with them, they become a stronger person and in essence conquer said "weakness".

I totally agree with Cath.
Surrendering (allowing yourself to be vulnerable) takes so much courage. Unless we take the risk of being without barriers we cannot go forward.

I can't disagree because I'm not even sure what that's supposed to mean. Is that an example of what they call psychobabble?
