I mean, when I'm drunk, I keep saying that I'm not.

Isn't there a possibility that I am crazy and not know it. Am I living in denial?

It can be anything that you feel represents you.
Say you were to die tomorrow, how would you like to be remembered?
e.g. strong, passiontate and indecisive.
Or maybe your favourite item you have or food you like you would like to be remebered as, it's up to you.

Is it possible for someone to forgive but not forget? Sometimes I feel as though those who do not forget are just not pure creatures...over the years situations just stick with me, some of them I don't even think are significant at all, yet they'll pop up suddenly and I'd remember some stuff about it.
In other situations, I just don't know how to forget things, I'll get into a fight with a friend and even though ages later everything is fine, I still can't forget some of the things that have happened. Friends keep telling me to "let go" but I have NO idea how to do that...does talking to the person who I haven't forgotten the situation for help?

Is anger management about suppressing anger?

I have stuttered for as long as i can remember. I have taken speech therapy lessons and even did a 3000 dollar for 3 day program. It taught me to take deep breaths and slow down. However lately nothing seems to be working.

My friend says that i have a lack of confidence, but that's because i stutter. And i can grantee you i would be very confident if i could speak fluently.

I am an actor...doing final year Theatre Studies. It pissed me off when i cant even read out the lines for some and for others i read well or perfectly....it makes no sense.

Now my latest ordeal is to try and prepare for a speech for English. Everyone will be all laxidasical about it while i will have to go over my speech for weeks in advance to have any hope of succession in saying it fluently. I was actually a finalist last year because i hardly stuttered at all and people finally know I'm not a complete moron.

Please, if stuttering effects confidence and visa verse...how the hell do i escape?

at Va. Tech than on the average day in Iraq? If this is a national trauma for us, what must be happening to the psyches and spirits of Iraqis, who face much worse than this every single day?

Any dream interpreters out there? I had a really odd one last night. A large tortoise would run and climb a tree really fast - get half way up and fall backwards landing on it's back and cracking it's shell. After it's second run and subsequent fall it apparently cracked its shell badly and I had the impression that it was fatally wounded. That's where the dream ended...with the tortoise on it's back. The tree that it was runing up was like a double tree - or two identical trees growing next to each other with very scaly bark. It was a big land tortoise, but had claws like a smaller turtle, I remember them scratching against the bark. Also - this is the best. It had a bumper sticker on its back that read "try me a hooters" - honestly, like you could get turtle at hooters or something. I couldn't possibly make this stuff up. The overall feeling was sad - I wanted to stop the turtle after it's first run but it was too big to stop.

his long lost He-Man toy figure!

I mentioned the story a few days ago about how he tried to "hide" it on me 20 years ago, dug a hole in our parents backyard, and ended up not being able to find it himself despite numerous digging attempts!

I brought it up in a joking fashion, yet he is determined to find it, claiming it is worth money nowadays ... however I think he may be psychologically ill and trying to settle a score of sibling rivarly.

What do you think?

I'm 19 old boy who has a problem concerning my personality. I've often self - analyised myself to get to the bottom of my shyness and/or quiet behavior and I've recently realised it. My dad. He had enormous influence on me. As a kid I've been somewhat afraid of him. He was some sort of a strict, very quiet and distant figure to me, a bit of an authoritative parent who doesn't say much, who thinks that all the things that the other parents talk with their children apply automaticly on me. That I will learn them in life on my own. Don't get me wrong, I was brought up in a perfectly normal family but there was always a sort of "unemotional" aura around my family. When I've read some article couple months ago that about 10% of adults are extremly shy. So I found out the truth , my dad is as shy as it gets! He is large and has unfrendly face, tough behaviour but is soo shy. My grandpa is the same, looks threatning but in fact they are very passive people, bottle their felings inside 100%.

I'm just wondering about brain potential. Why do we only use that 10%? What kind of power or ability’s are we capable of? We use our bodies everyday, we dream, have joy, sorrow and humour..shouldn’t this aid our power and increase our mental awareness? Life is full or mystery and the manna of life surrounds us but where’s it all going?

But when its good the bad gets tucked away and pushed down?

I think the transmission in my car went out the other day. Its up at the shop and they have had it for a few days now. THey still have not gotten it in. I FREAKED when the car went out of gear and then would not speed up only the RPMS woulld rev.

Since then I have been so depressed and all the bad things that has happened throough out my life. All the things that I don't think about when I am in a happy normal mood. I am afraid. I am mad. I am aggitated. Why??? Because I KNOW that its the transmission and will need a new car and no money to do that or fix it.

I know what the out come will be and just want to hope that something small is the prob but I feel it in my SOUL that its BAD.

How can I get rid of that feeling? And dont say calla the car comp. cuz i already did. Serious answers only

Hi everyone, with the Virginia Tech shootings dominating the news spotlight, there is no better time to speak up about coping with the loss of a peer while you are still in the prime of your life. Is there a good way to deal with this?

I'll put off fixing things for a faimly meal untill the last moment. When I know it it were to be refridartoded over night. I don't think I am lazy but I do procrastinate. What can I do to stop this bad habit?
