Try making yourself a daily schedule. It will allow you to see the big picture of what you have planned for today. Mark things in advance on a calendar. For example, if you have to host a party on May 10, schedule a deadline on your calendar to have everything ready on May 2. Other than that, unless its causing you great problems in your life, don't worry too much about it. Procrastinating isn't always a bad thing.

The reason why you are procrastinating is because you don't have a passion for the things you are doing. That's a bad habit, it's serious, and you should fix it.
Tools you need: A calendar, post it notes, and a journal.
I'm sorry that I seem hard on you , but keeping track of your duties is very important for being a very efficient person in your life. My advice is to stop watching television, stop spending endless hours on the phone, and reading more. It's kind of like brain candy for all of us. It juggles our mind into doing things constructive and brings out the creative juices into learning more. Go to the bookstore or library more often, it's lots of fun.
Purchase the book, "What Color Is Your Parachute" and start cracking those pages. Maybe you feel that you are bored with your life. Pray too, so you can benefit from confidence as well.

relies upon on what your procrastinating approximately. If its some thing straight forward like making the mattress, then yea I procrastinate lol yet whilst its life objectives then i do no longer. Over it by using placing a purpose/activity for your self wherein if its no longer performed in a well timed way then some the way you finally end up be bothered by it. maximum human beings won't procrastinate in the event that they're dropping by the wayside on some thing significant.

Quit thinking so much and just do. When I think of all the things that I have to do I always put them off. But when I tell myself that I am not going to think about it I am just going to do it, I get everything done with time to spare. Trust me, it really works. When you find yourself thinking about the things that you need to do then just start thinking about a song in your head or your favorite place or experience and just start doing things.

If you are procrastinating, you are also wasting time somewhere. Make a list of all the things you do to waste time. Make it a goal to finish all responsibilities before you allow yourself to participate in your "time wasters" (which might be fun things, like yahoo answers...) This will give you a reason to do all of those things that you seem to be putting off.
Good luck, start now! lol

This is gonna sound like a real easy solution, but it really helped me! I was the same way. I bought a big calender that hangs on the way, with plenty of room to write on the days. And I use it religiously now. And its like my own little reminder. I glance at it every day and it reminds me of stuff I have to take care of. maybe that will help you??

its human nature to procrastinate, but you should make a list of things you need to do, and do them. and if you dont then dont let yourself do anything that you enjoy until you get the list completed, it works for me
