The are on the road to recovery, have accepted his apology and seem like wonderful, smart young women.
The healing process has begun.
Being insulted by a bigot hardly compares to what went on in VA.

It doesn't matter, and it never should have. People get called names all the time, regardless of race or background. Imus got his personal hell by getting fired. I personally don't care for his apolgy. If he wants to be a racist bastard, then he can do so on his spare time. I'm sure those girls are not on his level and will get on with their lives and successes. But when someone kills a person, they NEVER come back!!! How can you compare the two!!! I would take a racist insult over getting killed or having the life of a friend or family member taken... ANY DAY!!!

prejudice, racism are some of the nasty things that have been happening since way back when. its not gonna go away. people might not see it always, but i'm sure people feel it or hear it. it's just un4tunate for Mr. Imus he blutted out thru his own mouth and dug up his own grave. it's really sad to think that there are still people that think that way, or even feel that way. its sad. we should all get along because we all live in one planet. mother earth. and if the Rutgers team said they forgive him, then i guess its a done deal. but recovery, i think they will recover. they are strong individuals.

The culprit Is also gone.Who will be punished for his misdeeds? nobody. The best way is to forgive and forget although it will take ages. If it was in Africa the society could organize for a day and come together to slaughter an animal, especially sheep to cleans the place, with an intention of preventing the ugly acr to re occur.
