I was thinking about whether you learn or forget more in a day and realised that it is probably impossible to actually measure the things that you forget. Can anyone think of a way to do this?

don;t you find it odd that people are saying how models and media make people think they should be skinnier than normal and give people a bad image and cause eating problems. Yet Americans are reportedly getting bigger and obesity rates are going up. Why is this? Is it that Americans are getting fatter than normal because of lifestyle but feeling guilter than normal because of media? That doesn't make much sense to me. Or is it that some people are too thin, while others are overweight and there are less and less "normal" weight people? Somehow, I fail to understand how these two opposites exist to the extreme in society today.

i think iam going to flunk a subject thrid time and i dont have it in me to take it again, my class perfoamance has been gr8 but some how always in the final papers or final project i suck , i suck and i get a C. why? do i have anxiety? do i have a condition like ADD or dylexia what? plz help !!!

have this recurring dream in which I am married to another man. (I'm happily married in the waking world) I don't know the man I'm married to in the dream in real life. In my dream the marriage is unhappy. Sort of like a marriage of convenience. Conversation with my dream husband is always in gibberish and always leaves me feeling depressed. In my dream I am having an affair with the man I am actually married to in real life. We speak English and I always feel good around him in my dream (and in real life) but at the end of my dream I am overcome with guilt. I always want to leave my dream husband and be with my dream lover (actual husband) but I'm never able to. I always have to stay with my dream husband. I try but one thing or another always stops me. The situations enacted in the dream are always different but I always an unhappy w/ dream husband and never can tell dream lover how I really feel. Any help on what this might mean?

I'm getting ready to attend Indiana University. I'd like to be more out-spoken and less shy about things, but its very hard for me. I've allways tended to be the shy type because I'm too focused on dodging conflict. How do you recommend I broaden my social skills with people. I tend to be boring, and well unliked because of it. Any ideas to help get rid of this annoying mind-set?

Tidbits that might provide insight:
I just got engaged but feel no stress about it.
The woman I was representing in court died on Saturday. I was upset because she was so young.
I'm going home to see my family on Friday for a week for XMas
I hate hate hate my job
I'm 25 and live in NYC

Most of the dream I was running away, trying to escape, and finally "they" (no clue who they were) caught me and tortured me.
In one part of the dream, I had a magic wand I was using to kill people ... and distinctly remember being curious that I didn't feel bad about it. Somehow one of us being tortured escaped and killed all the torturers, and then we were all really sore, but not afraid anymore.

She talks about all these things in her life such as her boyfriends and how messed up they are, How she wants revenge on them and her old "bad habits" but if I say anything anywhere near what she talks about she "worries about me" and tattles on me to our boss and gets me into trouble. How do I deal with this? I don't want to be like her and tattle on her but I don't know what else to do.

Everybody has different attitude, personality, traits. You and me is different. Traits could be something good or bad.

In your experience when these traits which is unique, would stop changing at some age. Which so fixed in one personality that not one person could change them again. What age?
