True, IT is important because a child needs to become comfortable in a learning environment. If the child develops a life long love of learning now, the possibilities are endless. They will grow to enjoy school, and feel safe asking questions when they need answers. If they are in an environment that they don't feel secure in as an infant and toddler, they will start out being afraid of all learning environments. I used to be a preschool teacher, and I could often tell when kids were taught to be comfortable and enjoy the learning. It also helps boost their self esteem if they know that even when they make a mistake they won't be ostrasized for it.

True. Anyone will tell you that. A Parent, Caregiver, Developmental Psychologist, or Teacher. If you want more info there are plenty of books out there and websites that will help learn how to develop this type of environment.

It is IMPERATIVE to provide a safe environment for any age child. Toddlers especially are prone to death by accidents and should be like all young children monitored closely and well supervised. There are internet sites that explain how you can childproof your home and this would certainly be applicable to their learning areas as well.
