She talks about all these things in her life such as her boyfriends and how messed up they are, How she wants revenge on them and her old "bad habits" but if I say anything anywhere near what she talks about she "worries about me" and tattles on me to our boss and gets me into trouble. How do I deal with this? I don't want to be like her and tattle on her but I don't know what else to do.

Stop talking to her and stop listening to her. Excuse yourself from her conversations or simply say "What? I'm sorry, I wasn't listening. My mind is elsewhere." Maybe she will reconsider next time she gets ready to discuss such problems of her own life with you.

Take a "hand-held tape recorder", and show her you're turning it on before you sit with her. ;))

Ask her why she tells your supervisor what you've told her, and yet what she says about her own life is worse than what you have shared with her?

After that "one more convo" with her, then don't hang out with her anymore. Sometimes it's best to "dump a friend" when it seems like her only purpose in your life is to screw up yours. Those types of people are not worth hanging out with.

Make yourself some new friends and DO NOT make yourself available to her anymore. For your own well-being, stay away from her, even if you have to eat or shop alone. You matter too!! If she tries to "weasle" her way back in to your life, keep your distance!

What you need to do is stay far away from her before she gets you FIRED. Apparently you thought you could trust her, but you cant. That might have been her plan all along. DO YOU KNOW THERE ARE SOME EVIL BACK STABBING WOMEN IN THIS WORLD. Your a trusting person like me thinking everyone has a brain!!! You don't owe her no explanations of why your staying away from her. Just keep it business. never tell your coworkers your business

She is selfish and dosent really care about you ar what you think, just herself. The bad news is you cant change her but the good news is, you can can change yourself. Find some other thoughtful person to talk to. concetrate more on your office work And pliz dont try to listen to your workmate talk,. lt will only frustrate you coz you will try to answer her and she wont listen.

Ignore her and just keep to yourself. Eventually she'll ask you what's wrong and you can tell her that you are not there to make friends but to work. Keep your interaction at a professional level. And grow up.

Don't share any personal; information with her. She isn't trustworthy and if she asks why you are so quiet-tell her you like keeping your private life private.

Don't tell her anything and she can't tell on you. If you can, get away from her and don't listen to her stories. Tell her you aren't interested in hearing anything negative
