in fact it can be also to people of younger ages, but anyways, my question is,

what has been the most difficult time in your life until now? im not meaning to refer to for example, the death of a loved one, because i know i will have to confront the same thing either way in my future to come. i refering more towards for example, the period when you just began working after college, or like the beginning of your midlife crisis or any other...

your probably wondering why on earth im asking this right? im just going through a period in my life right now where im feeling lost, confused, just out there some where and i hate it. i guess you can call it depression, but it suprises me because all of my life ive never been like this and to know what other issues that might occur in the future much bigger than the ones i have now kinda makes me think in a better way...

anyways, dont mind me, im just curious for the answer. thanks :)

It puts the child in a bad position. If he/she tells than he/she is even more of a wimp. When someone is pushed to the point where they have no other focus in life than why are we suprised when revenge takes place?

ok, i broke up with one of my girls the other day cause she pissed me off. i think it was either thursday or friday night, but i was at home just chillin and she said she was going out with her sisters etc.

i said cool, go ahead you have my permission but bring me a piece of tiramisu by the house cause i have a taste for it before you go wheverever you going.

she said i'll see what i can do. i said, cool.

i didn't hear from her until 3:15 am!

i didn't even pick up the phone cause i was sleep, but the next day she called me talking about she was riding with her sister and friends and didn't want to ask them to stop somewhere to get me the tiramisu.

so i said why you ain't just call me and tell me at least.

she said because she had no reception on her phone at the club where she was at.

that's a lame azz excuse, isnt' it???

anyway. i broke up with her. i said don't call my azz no more.

now she keep texting me and calling me...

i ain't gonna take her back....

i dont mean to say to change a person to make that person BE like how you want them to be, but changing them for the good of themselves, meaning, following the morals of life, the good points to know a live life...can a person every change for that reason?

i can say, im already convinced that it is possible, but i just want to know if there is any better, reasonable answer that would go against it.

please give reasonable answers. thanks.

I have 2 boys ages 3 and 7. I would like to have advice on how to help raise them to be eomtionally aware and to express their emotions in healthy ways....how to encourage them to do this....also ...my 7 yr. old doesnt know how to identify and express this emotions well and I can see this in him ...how can I help him identify them and to let the boys know it is ok to feel and express it. There is so much stigma about men being weak or sissy if they feel and express it and I dont want that for them it is so much healthier to just be human ...web sites would help me as well. thanks

..k, 'upgrade' isn't the right kind of word.. but from where i see (23yr old, single, renting in a house, financially secure, wear black, guitar playing stoner), there's all these guys in light blue shirts and smart khakis driving big peugots and fords, shaven, greased, smiling with their photo-friendly girlfriends, scowling at the news headlines, all perfectly fit into a positive social stereotype.

I can't get a girlfriend. And I hate this stereotyping! And I hate Fords! They're ugly and unreliable!!

Such as Tony Robbins, (i am currently listening to his CD's and love them and feel great and also Fiona Harrold's book " Be your own life coach" which i am reading again, ( last time was five years ago and it did me the world of good and helped me change my mind set and realise how in control of my life i am)
So i am interested in your success stories, especially if you used any of the above but any sucess stories would be great.
Think it, believe it, Do it, love it and be happy xxx

Although I do feel that dialoge and sincere interest are key to understanding others, at times other methods may be helpful.

One's "Gut" may be effective as well, yet with regard to this question, I am just interested in Observational Method(s).

Is there a short list of Tips, or a 1-2-3 Guide which may aid one in better listening to discern through behavior, e.g., language, gestures, silence, what one is Not saying? The point here is not to "Pigeon-hole" or shrink others into convenient little boxes. It is more at taking hints, cues from those who, for whatever reason, do not feel confortable with disclosure.

To "Read" (for lack of a better term) someone effectively, assumptions should remain out of the picture, along with other ineffective methods.

Learning of effective methods of understanding others, while keeping it reasonably simple, is where my interest is.

Any useful suggestions?
