Yes, I've had a lot of dreams that have come true.
This is the most common form of psychic ability.
HA HA!! Where to start?!!

I usually dream about murders and tragic events before they happen, to people I don't know and of things I cannot control.
Usually, I dream it as though I am the victim, only I am not present at the moment of their death. I am there as a witness to what is around them and I see everything with great clarity.
I also feel what the person feels as they experience it. It is as though I am them. (Even when I am dreaming about something that has yet to happen.)
I have had a few dreams about local murders and have seen all the details, even the face of the person who killed them.
Other times, I have been the person who killed them.
Other times I have had no body at all or have switched bodies.
(Actually walked into existing bodies, it is hard to explain.)
I think my experiences probably sound a little strange in comparison to yours.
They are real, though.
That's all I can say.
I first began having dreams like this when I was 8.

It is called premonitions. I have those in dreams too. Not often but almost always within a week and if the person is from out of town will at least run into that person. Usually very vivid remember the dream. Look up Edgar Cacye He is mly favorite on the subject. I wrote college psy. term paper on him and dreams. Interesting:-)

Maybe you are one of those people who are able to access a different level of consciousness when you are asleep. I don't think you have to worry about it, because there is nothing in your dreams that indicate you neglected anything.

So don't worry too much. Whatever you dream, deal with it in your dream with as much intelligence and compassion as possible. But don't attach any anxiety to any of it. If you receive a warning, then maybe you could make an enquiry about it. But you are not responsible for your cognition.

yes similar things have happened to me, i will give you an example
when i was 4 years old, i had a favorite sunday school teacher, one night i dreamed that another woman from church came to tell me that my teacher had died, when i woke up, my mom told me she had something to tell me, i said "she died didnt she" and she said yes, i wasnt sad at all, because she had already told me goodbye
sometimes i think that experiences reach our brain before they actually happen, sort of in the way that you can feel the pain of a needle in your arm even before they take your blood
always listen to your dreams, and never give up the chance to say goodbye to a loved one
its very likely if you have children that they will experience the same thing, so let them know its ok, and tell them of your experiences

It was April 89' and my husband and I were in the car and for some reason I turned to him and said My grandma died. My mother (for reasons only known to her) calls me up 3 months later and tells me my grandma died in April.....Lots of other odd things, but can't remember them at the moment, tired from work.
