So i am interested in your success stories, especially if you used any of the above but any sucess stories would be great.

I have visited with a therapist when I was off track. I have listened to Zig Ziglar and Wayne Dyer, motivational speakers tapes. I go to church and listen to sermons every week.

All these things combined to make me what I am today. I am fairly positive about myself even though I am in a situation that doesn't work very well. (at work) I am optimistic about the future.

A theme I hear in many of the concepts is, you can be happy, but it starts with being happy with what you have, where you are now, not waiting to be happy, when you ... whatever.

Your life is a journey and if you always place happiness out of reach, by waiting for it to come with the new job, a relationship, any number of other milestones, then you will always wait for happiness instead of having it along the way.

Mojo jo jo,

I think they help keep you on true north with your values, and help you uncover those values if you're not sure. A coach is also great at helping you look at problems/opportunities from unique perspectives you may not have considered. Lastly, they help broaden your options between fear and fulfillment so you can take powerful actions.

I use one, I am one, I coach 50 clients primarily on business development because of my background. I also wrote a book for dissatisfied corporate workers that want to make a change.

All great sports teams/individuals have a coach.

I get the impression your mind is bowled over by life coaching so I wonder if you are open to understanding why my answer is "no"? My sense is that life coaching may be helpful for very goal-oriented people who want to set themselves targets to achieve and want motivation fuel to help themselves believe in themselves and their abilities and to "take the t out of can't". But for me, aiming for happiness, my desired life change is about my "being, not doing", it's about becoming more empathic, more gentle, a more feeling person, more connective, and something as salespersonly, as businesslike, as moneymaking as life coaching turns me off. I don't get the impression that life coaching is for highly sensitive people.

no, but i am tempted. Need a confidence boost if anything. I've just graduated, but I'm too afraid to apply for jobs cause i don't feel i have much to offer and that i will be rejected at the expense of confident and more qualified people... Help!

Propaganda. I was got away breast of my family and I was thrust in the school since I was only 7 age. A hard nut to crack for me. Now I am 13 age and I will elope. Only for 2 years, not for all life.
