i hate tennis and i do it a lot. my counselor really wants me to stop playing it because he knows how much i hate it, and its making me sad. but, before i tell my parents i hate it and dont want to do it anymore then i will have to replace it with something, and i cant think of anything. i could get a job bagging groceries or something for a few days a week but there needs to be something more. i love video games, and am good with computers. maybe i could mow lawns? I'm not sure. i cant think of anything that i could do with the things i love like computers. please help

my belief is that- no, there is not. There is, of course, also no need for a cure as homosexuality is by no means an illness.

I have recently completed an essay on this subject, but am interested to know the opinions of other people.

You may wish to look up the work of Dr. Simon LeVay, as well as the work on rats done by a Prof. Gunter Dorner.

(personally, I believe the only 'cure' is acceptance. if homosexuality is no longer viewed as abnormal in some people's eyes, it can no longer be viewd negativly)

Some examples could be:

Can a shy person blossom into a social butterfly?
Can a angry and disturbed person learn to be as calm as a butterfly?
Can a lazy person learn to be more productive?

Forget brain damage or medication thories. Can a person change their personality through other means?

I'd love to be stronger-willed about things I promise myself I won't do too much of (drinking, drugs etc) but I'm very bad at making myself stick to the plan. Can you make yourself have stronger will power?

Are you in a job that you like but, yet, have to "push" yourself to get out of bed to go to? If you like the job, then why do you feel this way, every morning?

I often see people with black finger who seem to like it but most are unsure why. And if they know, its always a different reason. Deep down, it may mean they like the gothic image. For those of you who are not, why do you like to do it? and for those of you who are, what does it mean for you?

At every school I have been to, they always classify psychology as a social study and not a science. But I study psychology and every professor I have talked to perfers to call it a science. What is it really? Does anyone know?
