There is nothing that is "crazy". Especially if you are in emotional OR physical pain & nothing seems to work to stop the pain. Everything happens for a reason. We should have the choice to decide when we have had enough & try something else, like death. The problem is, many of us don't succeed & end up even more messed up than we were before we attemped the suicide!

Whoa! You are getting a lot of answers and they are all over the place. I guess you probably aren't too surprised by this, but here's something I hope you would think about: none of the answers have to do with YOU personally, what you are thinking and feeling right now, or what brings you to ask that question.
It's a question that you MAY be thinking about in isolation, you perhaps don't feel comfortable discussing with someone else in person. That's were it can become dangerous. You don't have the perspective of someone who knows you; who you are able to explain things to. I believe you need that perspective and you need it now.
If there is an adult in your life that you trust, make contact. Get some independent perspective on what's going on in your life. This may sound funny, but call a suicide hotline and talk to someone there. Maybe you have things to work out, problems to deal with. Don't try to do it alone. You've taken an important step by posting your question here. Take the next step and really talk to someone. OK?

Suicide is a crazy decision to make.
I tried to kill myself when I was 13 years old. I took 13 of my mother's pills (I am not giving you an idea, just sharing) and I got so scared that I told her after I took them. Luckily, what I took was not life threating but the doctor told me that my mom was an absolute wreak in the waiting room. Even though, I took the pills because of her (she didnt know how to show emotion), I never wanted to hurt my family again.

Yes, but all insanity has its predeterminants. We,in our nature, are built to survive extreme conditions, to know love is loyalty, to negate the negating for our positive and project our self into the future for our families, even if it is anonymous. In suicide, there is some sense of abandonment, exlcusion and rejection, an unworthiness for loyalty, a spiritual death. The suicide is already dead, and is in need of spiritual rebirth. Can you do that?

It isn't always "crazy" to commit suicide, but some people who commit suicide have mental illness or have experienced severe abuses. People kill themselves when the pain they experience exceeds their resources to cope with it. There are many resources available for people, but they need help finding them. If you or someone you know needs help, please seek out those resources. Pain is often temporary.
I've been suicidal at times, but I have had people help me with doctors and medication. Now I am quite stable and doing well.

When a suicide attempt fails the person is usually put in the mental hospital. After getting a psychiatric diagnosis, people shun him. Then he looses his mind. Suicide is not worth your mind. You will die someday anyway. Why hurry?

Yes. It's a coward's way out of dealing with real life. Every one has problems in life, some choose to run away from problems, which never solves anything. Others choose to face the problem and take care of them. Anyone who can commit suicide can't care about anyone else, either. They only care about themselves or they would think about who they will hurt when they're dead.

everyone has their own personal type of craziness, look for it(seek) and you will see(find) it....yeah but it not a way to heaven(if you even believe)...most times it is a cry for help and is called attempted...it's a distorted thinking process that brings these lost souls to really plan and achieve suicide......i hope you are asking for someone else and not yourself, whoever it is needs apurpose and reason tobe here living the gift of life they where given..

yes, because you have things to look foreward to. I know it doesn't seem like it, but things will always get better than when you feel suicidal. It may take a while, but things always get better. besides, if you kill yourself, all those people who picked on you and called you a no good loser woulfd be proven right, and we just can't let that happen. We can't let the bullies win.
