Why is when we see a sign saying wet paint the first thing we do is touch it with our finger.

This is a big pet peeve of mine. Does anyone else relate with me? I normally just smile and or graciously thank them but inside I am very annoyed.
Here is an example: I asked a guy that I worked with if he knew a good place to purchase health suppliments at cheap prices. He recommended a place that may have it and I thanked him. He then continued to explain to me that I could call them and see if they carried and IF they carried I could ask how much it was. I just smiled at him.
I know this is petty but it is so annoying to me. Any ways to explain to people that their "advice" is not necessary without coming across as rude or arrogant? Sometimes I think people are so used to dealing with idiots that they treat everyone that way.

Well, I don't know about you, but I find it hard to trust people (a lot of people) unless I've known them for a while, or I feel a connection right from the start. And, when I join a club or go out and meet new people through others or even on a job, it seems to me like I there is always one person out of the bunch or two that I notice right off the bat that give me a bad vibe. Whether it's because I feel it in my gut or because of the way nonverbally they are communicating, it lets me know right off the bat they don't like me for whatever reason. I usually find my suspicions to be right most of the time. I usually try be discreet around them because I don't trust them and don't want them misleading anyone about me, because they want start with their wrath-aka bullshit. I'm sure you guys experienced it sometime or another-so what is your story?

Also, when I become mad my face becomes noticeably pale (obviously I'm white). People that haven't known me that long are normally completely shocked to see me mad and turn pale given my normal easygoing manner. What normally angers me is when people cross the line with me (e.g., rudeness). Any insight on what is behind this rage and my face turning pale?

Its a really open question, just want to hear everybody's thoughts.
I see free as being able to do whatever you want, being able to push yourself in any direction without worrying what people think. To be so confident bout yourself, that you can shout in public if you wanted to. To be able to climb a mountain with no safety gear. To have no limits...

Im lead to believe that men generally dont want to discuss their problems with others but would rather be left to work it out for themselves, whereas us gals prefer to share our worries which I imagine is a much more healthy thing to do.
So what have you to say boys ??

Can one person have more than the other, good or bad; can you gain more or lose some during your life?
Or is it simply down to chance, merely a case of being in the right place at the right time, (or indeed wrong place at the wrong time)?
