I agree. My parents divorced when i was six (or maybe seven; I was young anyway) and I now have a step-father, a step-mother, and two baby half-siblings. My biological parents are happier than I remember them being when I was young and my sister and I both enjoy having a new, larger family.
I can, however, see why it would be negative for some people. I mean, if my parents would have gotten divorced when i was, say, 13, than it would have been much harder to adjust. But for a situation like this, looking to the positive is always the best. And if you can't think of anything off the top of your head, here's something: More presents at holidays!

Very positive? Oh no, a nightmare, but possibly a smaller one than staying together. For everyone involved, including the children, who are not fooled into believing things are okay when they're not.
I'm saying divorce is better than phoney marriage.
Divorce can be handled in a respectful way. Don't fight over your kids. Make it as easy as you can on them.

Well it depends on the situation, when there is no any solution divorce becomes inevitable, divorce is never postive but rather it is a relief to overcome difficulties, divorce is painful for both parties, and above all for the kids who suffer the most in this situation.

In cases where one or both parents are abusive - messed up on drugs or alcohol - arguing all the time - being a bad parent or spouse.
Even in those cases, the result of divorce can still hurt kids - but it is better for them under those circumstances. If one parent is cheating on the other - this can hurt the other spouse as well as the kids.

When both parents aren't dedicated to keeping the nuclear family secure, there is no good option.
Divorce is painful and hurtful, even if it is the best choice.

No. Any divorce is a sign of very unpositive feelings. Anything that breaks up a marrige is unpositive

When the bad is far outweighing the good in staying together, then yes, it can be very positive in the long run.

Especially if it was very negative before. :-)
If the parrents make the transition easy, don't argue, don't make kids pick sides... it is usually better than hearing them fight every night. Was from divorced hom as well.

Divorce should be the last alternative. If you can heal your family please do so. Change your social circle for all of you, pray for family healing, in the long run it is the best.
