I'm pope or King of somewhere. I would choose to address the masses from my balcony, on sky television too, with an audience of several hundred million, it is a very moving speech and people love me very much for what I have achieved etc.
Then I spontaneously combust/ a massive eagle wheels down and bears me away/ bolt of lightning/ vivibly ascend into heaven, waving goodbye!

Absolute instantaneous vapourisation by some form of horizontal Trekkie type plasma fusion generator, or on another planet by being the first to taste a new atmosphere of whatever description.
And the last thing I'd shout as I lifted my visor would be the only thing left worth t.... Or maybe jumping into a gravitational vortex at the center of the world and ending up back where I started from.
Or hopefully in my bed, as naturally as possible, after a lifetimes discovery of ourselves.
