Can one person have more than the other, good or bad; can you gain more or lose some during your life?
Or is it simply down to chance, merely a case of being in the right place at the right time, (or indeed wrong place at the wrong time)?

I believe your thoughts and beliefs create your reality, so luck is a result of thinking positive and optimistic thoughts. Do this, and you will find that your world and life open up to you - I know because I have had the experience. The world is simply responding to your thoughts.

An old saying goes that: OPPORTUNITIES ARISE WHEN YOU OPEN UP YOUR THOUGHTS.

So if you are entertaining beliefs that you are not lucky, or you'll never win, or something will go wrong; then you draw these realities into your life. Negative thoughts over a period of time will 'close down' your life, and diminish your 'sphere of availability.' Any guidance you receive will either be useless or dry up completely.

But if you entertain beliefs that you arelucky, you are always in the right place at the right time, or that everything goes right; then you draw these realities into your life. Positive thoughts over a period of time will 'open up' your life, and widen your 'sphere of availability.' You wil also find that you are 'lead' or guided to opportunities where great things take place in your life.

Luck really is BELIEVING YOU ARE LUCKY.

Try changing your thoughts about luck and opportunities over the next couple of weeks. Think optimistic thoughts and best-case scenarios often...and see what happens for you.

You may have heard that saying about a "lucky penny". Apparently, the penny has to have the head of Queen Victoria on it and if you carry it with you; it brings you good luck. Psycholgists have long known the power of belief. They tried giving people pennies. Pre-decimal pennies obviously. One group was given the "lucky" pennies with Queen Victoria's head on and another group pennies from a different era. The ones with the "lucky" pennies were luckier than the control group. However, other studies have shown that the Victorian penny is only lucky if you know the story about it being lucky. So maybe it is all psychological - you believe you have something that will bring you luck and so you are more optimistic, positive and take more risks and hence "win" because you're more confident than people in the control group who tend to be more cautious. Now give me top answer and 10 points for having several pennies with Queen Victoria's head on! LOL The oldest is around 1870 - those were the days! LOL

Luck doesn't exist. There are only winners and losers based on free will choices.

Someone picks the right numbers and they win the lottery. It's not luck. They just choose the right numbers on the right week.

I believe in work ethic, free will choices, and that we can make anything happen in our lives.

I believe in politics and favortism as well, but that person who is choosen for a certian isn't lucky. They were just liked by someone.

Your free will choice can put you at the right place and the right time if you choose to go to that place.

It's a subject of astrological study & a science itself. One's luck mostly depends on Planetary position of that particular person during the time of their birth & the place where they're born on this earth. I strongly believe in astrology from my own experiences & hence I can say that the luck exists, which may vary in every persons, making them an unique entity in entireity.

I think we can somewhat influence our luck by the choices we make. For example, if I choose to be around bad people who do bad things, chances are my luck may not be very good. If I am around good people, doing good things, I have a much better chance of having good luck.

Some people do seem to have more luck than others, but I do believe in karma.

My hubby helped out soemeone with their computer problems yesterday and he was offered money for his time. He said no, even though we are really skint, and when he came home, we watched the lottery and won £100. Fabby dabby dooooo!!!!

The great golfer, Gary Player once said 'The more I practice, the luckier I become'.

A person who regularly buys Lotto tickets is far more likely to be lucky enough to win than someone who rarely, if ever buys one.

A person who looks about themselves and sees what's about themself, if more likely to be lucky enough to find something worthwhile than the person who sees nothing on every journey.
