The chief symptom of ADHD/ADD is boredom. Fidgeting, not doing homework, etc, those are behaviors that come out of being bored.

However boredom is a normal emotion, so I don't think what society calls ADHD is really a disorder.

But, my theory is that the boredom isn't the problem so much, it's the response to it. The emotion of boredom is the result of an unstimulating environment. The facility our bodies provide to get away from boredom that are either doing something (ie, getting a more stimulating environment) or concentrating. When you concentrate, you don't feel boredom, or much of any other emotion. This lets the person do "boring" things.

So the 'natural' cure for ADHD/ADD is practicing concentration.

You could probably also do it with meditation or martial arts.

I mean you HAVE TO say something to him. YOU HAVE to laugh at him. It's uncontrollable. You are compelled, driven, to talk bad about him. EVERYONE does it. Am I right or am I wrong?! Put yourself in my shoes. If you saw someone TOTALLY without any beauty at all, you would not say something? Nah! You would!

Everytime you set up your mind to utter these 3 simple words to somebody you love, something deeper inside stalls it causing severe burden, so overwhelming that silence overpowers verbal ability. Is there a methodology to overcome this shortcoming (immense sorrow), if at all it is? Is this shortcoming a consequence of fear of losing or it a sign of true love ?

i see many people including myself who get so close to that "IT" of life and then they either subconsciously or consciously pull the rug out from under themselves.

Last night I dreamt that I was a child, maybe 10 to 12 and I was in my house with my parents (this house was different, I ususally dream of houses I've lived in, I didn't know this place.) When I'd go upstairs alone I'd crawl up and peek over the top step and this man in a painting would look at me (looked kind of like a playing card king) and he'd leap out of the painting. I ran and told my mother, but she didn't believe me of course, and when I went up with her, he wouldn't move. It was only when I was alone that he'd come after me. After a couple times, I told my mom I wanted to see a shrink and he told me (in the dream) what it means and I woke up. I want to see if anyone here can come close to what the shrink in my dream said so I know if it's true or not. Also, I don't knowif this matters, but everytime I ran to my mom for protection, in the dream, she was cooking in the kitchen.

I live in California. I have bad dreams about tornados all the time. I think I know what it means, but can anyone else give insite. There are houses in my dreams and my kids I am protecting as well as my dead grandmother and my aunt that is alive. Sometimes my x is in the dreams. I'm always losing something in the dream or trying to protect someone or something.

A few days ago I was over his house and he started going on about me being not too tidy. This annoyed me a bit butI kept quiet. He then wated me to take his trash out so I did but took a 5 min walk around the block to prepare for another lecture. When I got back I assume he was in the room with his girl friend and I went into the kitchen to see If I could fix the towl rack he was trying to put up a few mins later he comes in but i was focusing on fixing the rack and didnt say anything He starts fuming in the living room to his girl friend about me running off because I was angry at him.hes fed up with my #$%! and If I do it again the hell with me not knowing I was in the kitchen the whole time he was bad mouthing me. I popped out and said It's like that dad and said I going to leave and he telling me to stay I grab my bag and headed out the door telling me If I go not to come back and then teld me to give back his CC I did with the money he given me. He told me %%%% me I left.

I have always been told there are many signs to detect if someone is lying. I heard somewhere that men have like 12 different signs and woman only have 9 making woman better at lying. is any of this true or am I just belting out a bunch of BS?

Just curious but when ever I joke with a lady
"Want some candy little girl"
she'll launch into playful flirtations
but if I just say "you look nice today,
I get completely dismissed?
is there just something about the phrase that just triggers playfullness? if so what?
