There's actually a real, psychology answer to this. When things meet with what you expect, such as stereotypes (when a murderer happens to be black, when you get into an accident with someone who is Asian, when the phone rings when you're busy, when it starts raining as soon as you leave your office), you note these things. They fit with your expectation, so you say "of course, this makes sense, it always rains right when I'M leaving". You don't notice it when the murderer is white, when you get in an accident with a white guy, when the phone rings when it's quiet, or when it stops raining right before you leave the office because it doesn't fit with what you think. It's not confirming a belief of yours, so you don't even think about it.

Sorry to be the boring one that gives the correct answer but...

It just seems that way. It's rather like the phrase a watched pan never boils. you are going to notice the phone ringing more when you haven't got time to answer it. And when you've got all the time in the world and could do with some company you notice it not ringing.

Sorry again

I hardly answer my telephone except its my husband or my mom. Its terrible yet I usually call the guy decrease back later at the same time as im no longer contained in the approach something ( I have 2 little ones 3 and six months so im continuously busy with something or its nap time and mommy needs a spoil lol) My MIL not in any respect calls my homestead, in basic terms my husbands cellular telephone so thats no longer an situation yet dont experience undesirable, we choose breaks too. My daughter said her first words to my husband at the same time as she became 8 months previous listening to him communicate. We use to commute alot and he might want to contain so hed call and identity say " say hi to dada" properly her first words were to him on the phone and he or she said hi dada, we were both taken aback. At 3 she LOVES speaking on the phone which include her perfect buddy or which include her grandparents. My 6 month previous is merely starting up to hearken to dad on the phone at the same time as he calls.

I know that feeling. I hate phones to begin with. But people seem to know the right time to call. When you can't find the phone and when you really really busy.

How right you are! What's worse is when you are very busy, run to catch the phone, and it turns out to be an automated telemarketer.
