This act encompasses a wide range of issues that affect the life of women and children. This is verbatim:
Our Mission
The Family Violence Prevention Fund works to prevent violence within the home, and in the community, to help those whose lives are devastated by violence because everyone has the right to live free of violence.

What We Do

For more than two decades, the Family Violence Prevention Fund (FVPF) has worked to end violence against women and children around the world. Instrumental in developing the landmark Violence Against Women Act passed by Congress in 1994, the FVPF has continued to break new ground by reaching new audiences including men and youth, promoting leadership within communities to ensure that violence prevention efforts become self-sustaining, and transforming the way health care providers, police, judges, employers and others address violence.
If men have a problem with this act why don't they lobby for their own interest group and become proactive?

Women are better with children than men are. Little children prefer women over men. Women are anatomically structured to nourish children. If you believe in evolution, note that the majority of female animals care for their young while the male hunts. Women are more comfortable at home than anywhere else. And, furthermore, children benefit more when mothers stay at home and care for them rather than having the father do it, or putting them in a day-care center.

Soooo... if women are better at caring for children, if it is proven that they prefer a home over other locations, if they're designed to care for a child, and it is best for the child for the mother to stay home, then why is it wrong for a woman to stay at home and care for her children? Why shouldn't she? Is this really a display of chauvist, sexist idealogy?

Please answer rationally, with proven facts. And before you accuse me of being sexist, consider what I have to say and disprove it with scientific facts, if you can

Option 1
--------
You will be rescued by a 250 pound muscle bound firefighter who is a man and has passed all the tests. He will carry you over his shoulders and be out of the burning building within one minute and will not suffer any burns to your body.

Option 2
--------
You will be rescued by a 140 pound girl feminist firefighter who has passed some tests but made it to the team because standards were lowered so she could make the grade. She cannot carry you over her shoulders, so she will drag you out by your feet. After bumping your head over a few flights of stairs, you would have permanent brain damage, but you don't care because you blindly support feminism. You are still alive and will only have burns to several parts of your body.

It is common knowledge that Feminists would SECRETLY wish for the man to save them, and at the same time those same Feminist would PREFER that someone else would be saved by the girl as long as it is not themselves.

This decision is based on facts and you can only choose option 1 or 2. We do not need to hear any misandrist whinging. What is your choice?

I need a straightforward and honest answer about this. I heard about that despicable woman who shot her husband while he was sleeping and took her children to the beach, and that woman who drowned her 5 children. It's very scary when Women kill their children. Why is this increasing? What can we do to help stop this?

This is an important question. Anti-feminism and the rest of the social movements noted above (probably necessarily) tends to be heavily criticized by feminists as working to "turn back the clock" or deny women rights.

This argument, of course, is akin to saying that feminists are simply working to secure more rights for females without regard to their impact on males (and are misandric). Since we all know from constant testimony and rhetoric that this is absolutely absurd (...), why do (some) feminists still seem to think these groups are vehemently anti-women's rights?

Let me explain. I am (in certain respects) an anti-feminist. Why? Because I am critical of SOME aspects of feminism (or what it allows), such as allowing a shirt saying "Boys are stupid, throw rocks at them" to be sold while a reverse statement would never be tolerated by any company, no matter if a male OR female was running it.

Anti-feminists do not all belong to a radical group- many, like myself...

When women lie about who the father of a child is to extract child support, the man has a short period to challenge her claim or he will be forced to pay child support until the child is 18, even if DNA evidence proves he is not the father. But aren't these woman committing fraud by lying about who the father was? She should go to jail for stealing money from him with lies, instead of being rewarded with "child support" for a child who isn't his, which considering what kind of woman she is, is probably mainly "mommy support." If a man commited similar fraud against a woman, he would probably go to jail.

I understand why girls would wear revealing, form-fitting clothing in certain settings, like the beach or the club, etc.

But why do women in professional settings, like the workplace, or university, wear clothes that clearly reveal the exact shape and size of their breasts? Doesn't it seem a bit in appropriate? It doesn't leave much to the imagination!

The topic is raised here with alarming frequency, and since I have personal knowledge of one case, I am curious to know how often this situation actually occurs.

I know a woman who was married and got pregnant by man outside of the marriage. She is now divorced, but the ex-husband thinks the baby is his, pays child support and gets his legal visitation. The actual biological father does know he has a child, but keeps his distance so as not to screw up the current child support arrangement (it benefits the biological father , since he’s not the one paying). I do not know whether the biological father gets any visitation (or indeed if he wants any).

I’d like to see any kind of evidence, anecdotal or empirical, to indicate whether this is a growing trend or just the topic of sensational gossip.

*More resources available to victims
*Gender power shift (false reporting)

Any other ideas? thanks for all the help
