Ok first of all i think high heels are very sexy. I don't care who is wearing them. I have seen large women wear high heels with no problem. I do have a problem when i see women with heels on and they be leaning to the left to the left and that is noty cool at all. It kills the sexy but some women still think they are fly. I want to know your responds and best one get's 10 points. Thank you ladies for your time.

I think wearing high heel shoes can be nice if worn by the right woman. I have to agree that if you can't wear high heel shoes, you should stick to flats. No looks cute when they look like they're limping. Besides, sometimes depending on the shoe it may not be so comfortable, so go for comfort and good balance when picking a shoe.

I am a senior citizen now and I have been wearing high heels since I was 15 years old. The highest heels I have worn were four inch heels, but that was when I was younger. Now I stick to 2 to 3 inch heels. I feel really dressed up in high heels and I think they complete any outfit that I wear. When I was younger I thought the high heels made my legs look longer and me look taller. How silly can a teenager get, but I really did think that at the time, plus as I said I like high heels. That's my reason for still wearing high heels. I do see women/girls tottering around on high heels and they should not be wearing them. If you have never worn high heels before then you should start at a lower heel and work your way up to the 4 inch heels. If you do it that way you will be able to walk and run in them without any bother at all.

I LOVE the way high heels make my calves look and I am only 5feet 2and 1/2 inches tall, so the added inches are such a bonus! Now as a Mom the aren't so practical when chasing a child through a store or at church.........My high heels get dust on them between times when my husband and I get to go out......Still love those heels and I figure by the time the boys grow up my sexy shoes will be vintage sexy shoes, and I will still wear them..............

I absolutely love to wear high heels, just because of the way they make me feel (sexy) and how pretty they are. I own way too many pairs of shoes as it is but I just can't seem to resist buying them! High heels do make the feet hurt after a while, but I still enjoy wearing them. I agree that wearing heels if you can't walk in them is not attractive, just makes you look like you're trying too hard lol.

I try to pick heels that are comfortable with plenty of support around the toes cause that's where a lot of the weight goes. Also with a medium height heel so that my foot doesn't stretch too much at the front (on that angle) and sometimes a rectangle heel instead of stilletto can help with not wobbling from side to side thus better balance.

I wear them most of the time. I find they are more comfortable and although I am already 6' tall a couple more inches is ok with my husband who is tall as well. I won't wear those nasty ones with the hideously pointed toes because it is like walking around with my feet in a vice. I would say 80 percent of my shoes are high heels and they are fun, sexy and shout my love of life and total independence.

I go for comfort first. So I guess I'm not with the 'in' crowd at all times coz I can't walk in pencil thin heels. I agree with you when you say that women who can't carry them off shouldn't wear them. I also think women need to respect their feet and for the life of me I'm amazed at how women wear high heels to work every day! I wear high heels --- block type---when I go out and for work it's shoes with very tiny heels...and I'm only 5 feet tall but I couldn't put my feet through hell everyday as I sometimes have!

I always wear 3-5 inch heels and I'm 5'9". My feet are very arched and it actually hurts me to wear flats. I can walk gracefully in them. I don't teeter around.
I was at a nite club recently in 5 in high heel boots and this guy walked up to me and sarcastically asked me "What are you trying to do? Eliminate 90% of the guys here by wearing those shoes?"
I replied "No. Just you"
I really don't care if I'm 6'2" in my heels. I love being tall.

In response to Teensy. I am not "lying through my teeth" I love high heels.

I really hate when someone answers a question as if she's speaking for ALL women....no Teeny....I for one am not "lying through my teeth" when I say that I absolutely love wearing high heels....and give yourself a break if you don't like wearing them in the bedroom. I have a really sweet collection of "bedroom high heels" some that are meant to walk in, others...not so much...they're called "come f*ck me shoes", but that's a whole different subject girlfriend.
Yes girls that wobble and limp in heels should refrain from making themselves look like uncomfortable fools.
For those of us who have "mastered femininity"...we know how to work it, and we wear them well, thank you very much.

I think I have no idea how they all do it. I guess they just practice a lot. My great-grandmother wore them until she died because she wore them so much, anything else hurt! Go figure. I walk like a T-Rex in them, so I stick with flats or kitten heels, don't want to risk an injury, you know.... I really wish I could walk in them. I think it's a skill worth aquiring.
