For those women who said "food, sex, sleep" I say.. if you understand us so well then why do you complain so much about us or bother with us at all? Well I guess that does into the 'no one understands women' category... hahaha

The more I understand men the more I understand a woman's responsibility towards/around men.

For example, when I learned (and many have told me it is so) that men have thoughts of sex every however many seconds, I felt badly about how some men must really struggle to stay faithful to their wives, or not to become lude and disrespectful towards women - seeing us all as "s----".

So now that young stylish girls are wearing blouses that show half of their breasts to any man who wants a looksee, how much more some men must struggle. And some women feed off men lusting after them, in fact, which must make it impossible for some men to control their thoughts and urges. Then, if that is a moral issue for them, they have the guilt of that.

I don't blame women, because everyone is responsible for their own actions. But I do think that not having any regard for a man's weakness is just selfish and unkind.

"Yes because unlike women men are very simple in everyway!"

Interesting. I wasn't aware that males were so basic.

Where did this supposed "complexity" on the part of females ever arise from, anyways? Males are not static, they just might not present as many of their own emotions and thoughts.

Indeed, where is the proof, even in an anecdotal form, supporting the assertion that most males are "simple," and most females are "complex?"

I have never seen any.

It is difficult for one sex (or, indeed, one person) to truly understand the viewpoint of another unless they take a step back and examine the circumstances of this person's existence and life, although such a procedure would be very time consuming and difficult to do in the spur of the moment.

If a woman "says" she completely understands men, she is merely an arrogant heathen. That's all.

Sex, food, and and a lot of sleep is correct.

Really though, I believe sex is a very high priority for most men. It's wired in to them, so sexual satisfaction is key. This is not wrong either. Some men go about it the wrong way though, sometimes lying to get it. That is the true problem.

Affection is important too. Men like to feel appreciated and wanted just like we do. It's important to remind them that they are smart, funny, and attractive as well.

If you want to understand the guy that you're with, it's going to take communication. If you're straight up with him, hopefully he'll be straight up with you. The reverse worked for me with my boyfriend.

He keeps it honest with me and he gets the best of me. Every man and woman want different levels of different things. Talk.
So I'm not saying I understand men, I've only picked up on a few things (many they have told me), which is what you should do. Let him tell you.

In response to his additional comment:
I love sex, sleep and food. In no way did I say they are bad things. That's why I'm with my wonderful boyfriend.

No men I cannot figure them out they are like
sex starved cats
And men all they seem to know is beer and football

Some men are just so quiet you say hi to them and they
are in another world and say nothing
to you at all, and they stare off into space

Most men like the company of other men and men talk
with men man talk
No girls aloud I stay away from them

So no I just do not understand men at all they are in
their very own little world
Men have their own planet and we women have our own
planet

Nobody understands anybody. People are indivisuals, not all people that belong to one sex are the same. That's like saying all people that belong to one race are the same.

But because of the way men and women are raised diferently, I can imagine why it would be so difficult to understand each other.

I don't! I mean, there are some men who are completely transperant...but there are some women like that too. But for the most part, as a whole, I don't get 'em at all! Maybe it's because I'm young but...bah! I don't even get women sometimes so, gee.
Cheers!

Men seem to be just as complex as women. I don't totally understand all men, but I think I know what makes the men that I am close to tick.
for the most part that is...

The best way to understand each other is to listen to the AUDIO version of "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" - the audio version because the narrator's voice is hilarious.

And the tape is very informative.

Write me if you need more.
