It is for a debate. Boys v/s Girls! We, girls should oppose the fact that a woman should stay at home. Give facts and figures to be more precise. You can also guess what the boys might say to contradict and give your suggestions about this.( We are in a modern world, na? Women can manage both! Give examples of these successful women and their contribution)

With all the hoopla women in recent years have made about being able to do for themselves, why do women get mad when men dont open doors for them or make a simple little compliment and turn it into sexual harassment? Can you have it both ways? Have we scared them into a central way of thinking about all of us?

American Heritage® Dictionary:

fem·i·nism (fm-nzm) KEY

NOUN:

1. Belief in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes.
2. The movement organized around this belief.

Other similar definitions: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/feminism

You people need to stop slandering the word "feminism." It does not mean women who hate men, want to oppress men, want special treatment, etc. It simply means believing in the equality of the sexes.

If you are speaking about women (or men) who hate men, please use the appropriate vocabulary = misandry, man-haters, or if you really have to feminazi.

I have been called a troll several times, but my understanding was that a troll was someone who:

1. Was there to meet love interests
2. Was there to irritate or aggravate without adding anything to the forum

I am not either of those things...just a real person with some differing beliefs and opinions. Is "troll" the new word for describing someone who disagrees with feminists?

Feminists seem to like to have in mind an idea of "how a relationship should work", "what men have to do to please women", "what women should do to make a relationship work" etc. etc.

But at the same time claim things like they are independent or will never get married. Most will never be in a relationship for the rest of their lives and have been through some sort of painful divorce or separation, were "abused", dumped etc.

What makes them think they can give relationship advice if they are an abject failure at relationships themselves?

Furthermore many feminists are lesbians, yet still persist in giving heterosexual women relationship advice? Why? They know the least about men out of anyone. Men know about men, white men do, black men do, a transsexual arguably knows about men, heterosexual women may know something about men, but lesbians?

They know nothing.

So why do they think they are an anywhere near decent source of relationship advice?

What is your view... Pro-Life, or Pro-Choice? (somewhat or strongly) I am STRONGLY Pro-Life, and I think that when a person is having unprotected sex, they know very well that pregnancy could come of that. I also feel that there are other options, not just killing an innocent human being.

A fetus has a completely different DNA from that of the mother. By biological definition, that means that it is a completely seperate organism, in this case - a completely seperate human being. A fetus grows while inside the womb and has independent brain and cardiovascular functions. There is absolutely no scientific argument that that a fetus is part of its mother.

There is no remaining political argument for this brutal practice. Science has definitively proven that it is NOT a women's body for her to choose what to do with. There are two human bodies and in the United States, one can legally kill the other.

Why do you abortionists refuse to acknowledge the scientific facts surrounding the issue?

It would ensure that the other wives would be on hand to to raise a man's children should the first one pass away unexpectedly or divorce him, and it would also be useful in providing the husband with fresh entertainment, thereby preventing any dangerous and wasteful liaisons with prostitutes.

Here's a comment by Dr. Warren Farrell, thrice elected to the Board of Directors of NOW in NYC.

"After more than a decade of research for my book, WHY MEN EARN MORE, I discovered that men and women make 25 work-life choices that actually create a wage gap.

Men make decisions that result in their making more money. On the other hand, women make decisions that earn them better lives (e.g., more family and friend time)."

What are your thoughts on this NOW Director's findings? (The links contain summaries).

Has anyone read his book?

A few of my colleagues at work make fun of them for being on the losing side of a relationship. I told them that they shouldn't judge ladies like this.....they could be hurt themselves. Why this stereotype? It takes two to tango!
