About me: I'm 27 - a game programmer by profession and tall, dark handsome like other Indian guys - it's just that I have observed some strange things about a few American girls I interacted with - based on that, many American girls are CRAZY or what

1. TWO MONTHS BACK: I was registered with a Penpal site and a 28-year old attractive Blonde from Pennsylvania suddenly comes to me and says "SHE WANTS TO MARRY ME" - was sounding desperate - and she says she would sponsor my US visa and all - I just said "I AM NOT PREPARED" - after a few phone calls, the story ended.

2. 15 DAYS BACK: There was another lady from Missouri (she said she worked with health agency) came with a similar proposition from AOL -again, she WAS DESPERATE.

3. TODAY: I was in a chat room where another girl comes from Georgia and she wants to COME DOWN to India and later she will sponsor my visa.

None of these events are related but what I wonder is WHY ARE SO MANY LADIES DESPERATE -they behave like Russian

flappers where all about showing skin, especially in the arm area. but i wonder if they shaved to appear more feminine or if they took the more boyish style as flappers did (bobbing of hair, taping of breasts) and leave the hair there.

Scold's Bridles were used extensively to teach women not to speak out of turn, to not gossip and, in the case of workhouse inmates, to not speak to other inmates. However, I have been unable to find any cases where it was used on a man. I know that women have a tendenacy to talk a lot more than men, and gossip is usually associated with women much more than men, but surely there has been at least one man in history that had a problem with jabbering too much...

At school I kicked boys before that were bugging me and they never bothered me again! Ok, maybe once or twice I pretended to be pis.sed of.f just to do it, but I am sure they did something wrong to girls sometime so they deserved it anyway, besides girls in my year do it all the time. Some of the boys were almost as big as my Dad, so if I can beat them…
The problem is that he doesn’t let me do everything I want! Just one example, even when I don’t have classes the next day until 10AM, he still don’t let me watch TV past midnight! I know I have to thank my Dad for being a girl, because I learned in school that sperm is what determines the gender of the baby, but that doesn’t give him the right to tell me what to do, it’s MY life!! My patience has limits, you know? I already taught my younger Brother a lesson and worked very well on him. Should I teach my Dad too?

Why in an argument, are women so hell-bent on getting the last word (usually when arguing with a man)? Do women see the "last word" as winning the argument? Is it an ego/pride thing? I know this is primarily a woman thing, as men are generally not concerned such triviality as "getting in the last word." Can someone explain this? Women, have you personally been in an argument and had to get the last word? If so, why? Has anyone witnessed a man getting the last word in against the woman? If so, was the woman devastated?

I have always wondered why women have the conceived notion that "women are always right" and that she must never "lose" an argument, and "winning" according to women is getting in the last word, regardless if the adversary makes a better point.

Do not think it is degrading for a woman to be classified as a Fox.

Sorry, I just don't think the devout Liberal Feminists of today will ever reach that high state of a rating.

I have observed the purposes of the feminist movement which are to help women to get equal pay, equal promotion in the workforce, and equal power in political office. However are the feminist movement one-sided? For example they expect men to see them as equal in the workforce but then they do not pick up for males who are victims of domestic violence or sexual harassment as they do for women. The same can be said about the military draft, few women complain that is unfair that only men are required by law to serve. The same can be said about the death penalty, there are murders committed by women against men that do not receive the death penalty but vice versa it would result in an execution for a male murderer under the same circumstances. So is the feminist really about equality or one sided?

i remember my liberated galfriend dragging me along to the new women's rap group back in the 1970s. i was a working mother then. i remember women in the group moaning and complaining over being stay-at-home workers, their husbands, and their periods.

i want to know what this forum thinks because most of you are younger than i am. my viewpoint is that once women entered the workplace en masse that men's wages got lower, forcing both spouses to work to keep up with the joneses, & then later, as it stands now, just to plain, outright survive.

both mom & dad arrive home exhausted. i don't think they do not love their kids; i think that they are too tired to read to them, to do homework with them, to bathe them, and to share much quality time with them.

do you think that men and women both became enslaved by the women's lib movement? do you think that a woman looks stupid if she stays home? do you think having a lot of toys is more important than family? why not change it all?

Do women have an irresistible urge to take off their clothes when doing any physical activity. I go to the gym often and without fail there will be some women there with her gluteus maximus hanging out of the bottom of her too short panties. the same is true when women are in any runing contest such as a marathon, they will be runing in what appears to be underware. I try to see women as more that just fresh meat but if you keep displaying yourselves as such then men will see you as just one more piece of salami.

My problem is this: I am a good looking, charming, sexy guy. At my age, I already know well what kind of sensation I produce in a woman: attraction (that is a fact; so I don’t pretend being modest here). I have noticed that whenever I come across an above-average looking girl, she usually looks at me, keeps looking at me, starts flirting, even smiles at me. But when I come across an average-looking girl (or slightly below average), she always pretends that I am an inferior being not even worth giving the time of the day. I know about all those theories based on insecurities, lack of self confidence, shyness, etc. But I think there is something else but I cannot completely understand. Does anyone have a clue of why such different behavior among these women out there? I am interested in the opinion of both guys and women. I live in the U.S., so don’t bring up any exotic cultural issues. This is frustrating because I usually fall in love with the average girl, but have no chance with them

I read answers on here all the time that are like "We have a looooooooooong way to go until we're equal to men" and I'm just like.....WHAT? Women have every single right that a man does- and they should. But this idea that they're somehow still unequal does nothing other than reflect this hatred that feminism has toward men- yes, it does. Women will sit (some) and go on and on about all the things that they don't have, can't have, etc. and thats fine. But it becomes an issue when they think its because they are oppressed as women rather than just accept it as an inevitability due to society that will never change and a few innate differences between men and women that DO (thank god) exist. Sure, some women are still thought of the girl who cooks and cleans. I'm sure thats tough. But you know what? Men are still thought of as useless fathers and can't get child rights even when they should.
