You need to get some education. Now also works against racism (anti-Klan) and homophobia, as well as sexism. They escort women who want to go to a clinic without being attacked for getting birth control. They work with rape survivors and battered women shelters, and child abuse hotlines. They try to make sure Title IX doesn't get dismantled, so girls can still participate in sports (not many girls did prior to the 80's). Supporting women is just that, it isn't about men, it's not against men. To turn it around, should men who stood by (and some still do) while other men were beating their wives, raping their girlfriends, and abusing their children be charged with crimes against humanity? I still hear, boys will be boys, to justify violence against girls and women. It must be nice to live in such a safe world, wish I did.

Real masculinity cannot be taken away from you by anyone; it is what it is. If you're feeling a little threatened, I'd have to suspect that maybe your masculinity is just a macho front to cover deep-seated homosexual fears and gender identity denial.

The only ones that would have a problem with them would be those that are insecure with their own masculity. A true male who has a good sense of self appreciates the equality that has been achieved.

I think those women just don't want to be treated like some women in foreign countries that are required to walk behind men. Personally, I like masculinity--opened car doors, pulled out chairs, opened doors, making sure I'm ok. without being a PITA (pain in the a**).

Are you asking this because you are a woman hater?
Are you insecure with your studly manhood?
NOW members are there to uphold womans rights, but it doesn mean that they expect the men to lose many aspects of what makes them so attractive. Their membership exists because there is in fact, inequality in the world (although progress has been made in the USA and other nations in the past 100 years).

Inequality can mean different things, from not getting a shot at the same type of job because of sexual BIAS *regardless of performance* to access to healthcare (ie. drug studies specific to women anatomy and hormones not just mens) to standing up against disgusting practices like gang raping a muslim woman as a weapon and then jailing her for reporting it to allowing women to participate in typical male only sports and in the army as long as she can perform her role well.

Your question shows naievete in that you do not understand why such an organization exists, or that you think it is meant to attack men for the sake of an attack when in fact, they are mostly defending women against heinous discriminatory practices by men. Best thing you can do is appreciate a womans perspective and not seek to stereotype now or women who support it as a poor attitude could one day get you in trouble. Good luck.

There aren't any crimes against femininity, so of course not.
