What if a male TV presenter tricked a female contestant to put on a blindfold, and then he sucker punched her hard in the breasts or in the privates? THAT ALREADY HAPPENED!!!
And while the woman was on the floor in excruciating pain, embarrassment and humiliation; he laughed very hard at her, then he said a very fake “I am sorry, I am so sorry” while still laughing!!!
She pretended not to be too upset because she has a contract with the TV channel; and because she doesn’t want any scandal, she just wants to “forget” about it just like any sexual assault victim!
Amazingly the public saw it live on TV and did nothing about it; in fact they thought it was funny!!!
How can this be acceptable? Assault is considered to be a prank?! And on TV?!

I mean, doesn't a man have the right to be insecure about certain things? Doesn't he know himself best and know what his strengths and his weaknesses are?

Wouldn't a guy who is not insecure at all be the type of person who is constantly lying to himself, since nobody is perfect and we all have REASONS to be insecure.

Aren't women insecure about some things, too? They worry about how their hair looks, or how they look in a pair of jeans or how they look without makeup etc.

Well then, don't men have a right to be insecure about how big their muscles are or if their hair is balding or if their bank account isn't big enough etc??

The Masculine studies is a regular discipline in some universities, but many people here are asking why there is no Men's Studies section in Y! Answers, having no idea what it would be. Let's try to think about that.

let's face it....by 15 or 16 most females are no longer "children". they are well on their way through puberty, and may in fact have already reached their sexually mature state. once a woman has her first period, after all, she is capable of giving birth. in many countries around the world (and in fact, in many US states), a woman can get married, consent to sex, and have children at age 15 or 16 (or even younger). So why is it that we call pornography of anyone under 18 "child" pornography.

To me, "children" are something very different than teenagers.
Those who like to see actual child pornography are very sick, because children (it depends on the maturity of the individual in question, but typically I would define children as those under 14 or 15) are not yet sexually mature. Pedophilia is the attraction to PRE-pubescent children. PRE-pubescent. And yet law enforcement and the media seem to brand any one who looks at 15 or 16 year old pornorgaphy as a "pedophile". This is not true

Since women are always faced with unrealistic standards of beauty, why not create one for men too? It is only equal.

Minimum 5'8, at least a 4 pack, wells-defined chest, able to fill out boxer-briefs well, tight butt and smooth in the right places.

As well has a women's version of FHM/Maxim etc where intelligent, funny articles are published. And more tasteful.

By the way, I like the women's studies category!

When the "ugly" girl gets the guy she has to go through a make over at the end(She's all that, Grease). When the "ugly" guy gets the girl all he has to do is to gain confidence(Hitch, Clueless). Does this reflect reality? And most of the time the "ugly" girl in movies are actually pretty while the "ugly" guys in movies are really below average (except for Kevin James in Hitch I think he's cute just fat).

what do you think? I feel that it does mirror reality in certain ways but then again when I watch Extreme Makever the women participants have pretty good-looking husbands/bfs although they are not attractive by society's standards, so maybe it isn't true at all.

Please insert stereotyping comment about what may be an annoying thing that you have seen any woman do ever in your whole life.

I appreciate it

Before you answer that, think about this: A strange man says he's gonna slap your wife. You want to take you wife & leave the problem, but she insists that you stand up to the guy because she's tired of the harassment. You do so, the guy tries to fight you, you knock him out, thus, protecting your wife, & she is happy. You have an arguement one day & break up. She has talks with her female friends about feminism & how men always cause wars & are so violent. She then uses that one experience as an example, saying, "my ex husband even fought a guy who harassed me. See how violent men are?"

My point is, it seems to me that men don't go to wars just for the fun of it. Many of them do it to protect their wives, their home, their families. Many times the wives are all for it & cheering their men on to protect them. So when I hear femininsts say that it's men who cause wars & act violently, it makes no sense to think that women are innocent & have nothing to do with it.

Thoughts?

Happy Bullet (in his current incarnation “BabaYaga” just posted the following insulting “question” (as usual) trivializing rape:

“Why can't men understand something so simple as NO MEANS NO?...If I say no - THAT MEANS NO...If I say no, then yes - THAT MEANT THE FIRST THING I SAID (NO) IS WHAT COUNTED…”

IS THE FOLLOWING RESPONSE A WINDOW INTO THE MIND OF A SERIAL RAPIST?
“That's very simple. Women change their minds oftentimes, they don't have a definite decision all at once. My girl-friends would agree to that. This is one of the unique traits that separate women from men. So basically, you can't blame the men if they keep on insisting the women on what they want to happen or do or think...Perhaps in this way they could change your minds, as what your nature basically defines.

Persistence breaks resistance.”

CREEEPY" I FOUND THIS ARTICLE ON PSYCHOPATHOLOGY EARLIER - I THINK THIS IS HOW THE PERPETRATORS JUSTIFY THEIR CRIMES TO THEMSELVES AND TO THE WORLD; WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Previous generations probably preferred a smart woman - not just book smart, but also street smart. But truth be told - many men did not want an overly smart woman, after all, it would be too hard to tame and control her. So, intelligence is needed, but in small quantities.
( let me know if you agree or not?)

When I was talking to my ex-girlfriend today… we got into some kind of little argument—and she started to name girls that I cheater on her with. Then she herself incriminated her own statements—she said that she had a boyfriend but that she didn’t know if he was still with her at the time when she was still with me. So I pointed out to her that she too cheated on me. So what is she talking about me cheating with her on with all those girls when she in fact cheated on me. She tells me this especially when I didn’t know about it until now that we are broken up. Why are we arguing like this?

Woman observes circumstances in a different way. My girlfriend takes things differently then me. She points things out to me that I would not of otherwise have noticed. For example: She may say that girl looked in a certain way so she doesn’t like her and wants to fight her, or that girl say something offensive to her or somehow she see some kind of fault. Another example is that when I was at restaurant my girlfriend said that the waitresses flirt with me because they are being too friendly with me but I have not noticed it. I told her that it’s their responsibility to be hospitable and that it’s not flirting. Is this some kind of womanly observation that I don’t know about?

I'm curious to see what answers the women give on this. When looking at a guy, how fat does he have to be to be "too fat" (please define as best as possible)?

At the same time, when is a guy sexiest or most attractive to you as a woman?

Imagine a world where women were the "stronger" sex and men the "weaker" sex. Women are the breadwinners and men are the homemakers. Women's professional sports are dominant. Women hold all positions of power in both political and the business sense. Homemaking is the traditional man's job. Men take the woman's name. Basically except for physical makeup (including the fact that women still would have the babies) and attire, women and men have switched roles.

I'm looking for specifics - what would work and what wouldn't work. Please be descriptive in your answer.

Thanks!
