You know what I love, Scruffy?

I love how articulate you are. I was going to answer this question, but you said what needed to be said.

Thanks for the fantastic sex this afternoon and if anyone wants to call me a feminazi to my face I'd be happy to put on the jack boots, get out the pliers, and show him exactly how much of a Nazi I can be (especially for $80!).

All joking aside, feminazi = stupid and unfair.

That's hilarious!

I think any extremist can be called a Nazi!

I'm pretty sure that extreme feminists would just say that the term 'femi-nazi' was created by an ignorant man trying to keep females down...

Yes. If they go further than the feminist definition of equality, by which of course, I mean superiority, then I don't mind if they are called femi-nazis.

Extreme feminist are referred to as radical feminist and they think that instead of changing the system it should just simply start from the beginning. Nazi's were involved in mass extermination of humans, radical feminist are in no way interested in any type of violence just in achieving equality for all genders, races, classes etc.
I think by referring to them as Nazis it glaringly shows the ignorance of both the term feminist and the historical significance of Nazi dogma.

feminazi is a pejorative term invented to use against all feminists to make all feminists seem extreme. agitating for equal pay? feminazi. don't want to dress "like a woman should"? feminazi. don't like it when people make sweeping statements about what all women are like? feminazi.

all of that aside, i still don't think it's appropriate because even the most extreme feminists are still fighting for rights. i have never come across a feminist agitating for something i considered unreasonable. the most extreme feminist notion i've ever encountered is the lesbian separatist movement, and who cares if they want to go live alone? that's hardly nazi.

Depends how extreme. I seen some answers here that were ridiculous to me. If she/he is ignorant and just throw around lawsuits, their a pest. If they know the damage their doing and don't care and do it to feel better, then yes, it's ok the call them a Nazi.

Fair? Naw, I wouldn't say so. There are a lot of evil feminists, but I think the pejorative "Nazi" is thrown around far too much. Plus the guy who coined the term is a pompous windbag.

Honestly, I think "feminist" is enough of a curse word already.

No, because the term feminazi was created in refrence to the ignorent idea that all feminists want to kill uborn children.

if they're so extreme that they're not following the true spirit of feminism [the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes] any longer, i think it's more than fair. i'd rather not be lumped together with extremists.

yes , because feminism as described by one of the feminist leaders Germain Greer isn't about equality it is about gaining more for the female gender. Feminism is about hatred and not accepting that men and women are different
