Most women aren't. Here's my take on it: I'm happy to be considered a sex object, but I want to be acknowledged as more than just that, too. I often reduce both men and women down to sex objects; I think we all do at some point in time. But in real life I know that everyone has an intrinsic value beyond their bodies and what they can do for me sexually, and I want people to treat me the same- someone valued sexually AND as a intelligent, sweet, kind, caring person.

I am happy to be considered sexy, but not an "object". Hello, we are people. There is more to us than what can be done with what is between our legs. If you want a "sex object", check out AdamEve.com, they have plenty of objects that are made for sex.

Only when the occasion calls for it. For example, if a woman is skantily clad and out on the pull, then she can hardly complain (that goes for men too).
However, if a woman is respectuflly dressed and going out to work for example, she doesn't want to be viewed in that regard and it would be disrespectful for man (or woman) to do so.

In short, yes...
Women like to look and feel attractive, why else would they obsess so much over making themselves look good??
Of course, I'm not saying that that is ALL women want to be seen as. But being attractive is something that feels good for women naturally.
NOTE: The question did not ask if women were happy to be ONLY sex objects, but to be sexually attractive as well as everything else.
