Why is it that a guy who gets it on with multiple girls is a pimp and admired while a girl who gets it on with multiple guys is a sl ut and reviled? Is this sexism?

This is one example of sexism and this is what is called a double standard. The same with a man that goes into a bar and sits by himself drinking is acceptable while a woman who does the same thing would be accused of being a skank and a drunk. Men are allowed to excel at sports and if a female is good at athletics they say she must be a lesbian. The world is full of myths such as this and these just simply illustrate how sexism is part of most people belief systems no matter how totally ridulous these beliefs may be.

It is for anyone who thinks that way. Naturally speaking, animals do not have such "standards" or "rules" of conduct. That is not how nature propagates.
But, since it takes a long time to raise a human child to adulthood, a "father" must be present for protection and sustenance, and for that, humans invented marriage and faithfulness. The male wants to know that the offspring he is "feeding" is his...

There is no dirt in sex. Male and females both have sex. If the girl is labeled a slut, so then should the male be called an equally nasty name for having had sex with her. It is a religious, human invention...the same thing happens when a girl withholds...she is a prude, if a guy withholds, he possibly gay...it is a huge fallacy.

has nothing much to do with feminism. It is merely logic and nature that will prove this right. Do not judge others, and do not contribute to this behavior. Recognize the beauty of nature, including sex.

The use of the word 'pimp' is a misnomer but I get your point. I get the impression that times are changing and that people who sleep around a lot (dozens of different people) are more reviled these days whether male or female.

Yeh its sexism alrite. Its really not fair. Im really not a fan of women who are really really femenist and men-hating but i hate chauvenists as well. In these sort of situations a lot of girls think to themselves that they couldnt go thru with going with someone in case they were thought of as a s.lut; whereas a guy has all the more reason to, because even tho ppl say they dont like pimps and all, they still seem superior. Its not fair at all but i dont think it ever will be. It should, but it wont. People just have to stop caring about what others think of them.

i guess that whole idea goes hand in hand with the old fashioned belife that girls should be "good". and guys can be admired for being pimps b/c it is most guys fantasy to as u say get it on with multiple girls. & the ppl who do look up to guys for being pimps are all guys too.
Yes i do beive this is sexism.

Yes, it's sexism, but I do not agree with it.

To me, a guy who has been with too many girls for the wrong reasons is a slut. That's a HUGE turnoff. I have female friends who have slept around a bit to get more experienced, and I think it's fine if it works for them. We all decide for ourselves.

Well isnt the defintion of sexism having diffrent standards for one sex than the other? And while i do think that society treats men diffrently or even better then women when it comes to sex i think that any slightly intelligent woman isnt going to go for that kind of guy and if she does is that really the knid of girl you want to be with? so basically guys before you hook up with a girl just ask yourself can you picture her stealing your wallet?

The common theme is that girls are supposed to be "pure" and keeping themselves for just one guy. The flip of that is that "boys will be boys". It is sexist and is a bad way to be or to view anyone. If the guy truly loves a girl, he can keep it in his pants until she is truly his. For the girls, a good answer is no, until you are willing to take the risks associated with the desired activity.

It most certainly is.

Honestly though, I find myself lacking respect for girls AND guys when they've shared their goods with half the town. My ex-boyfriend had been with a lot of girls and it was a HUGE turnoff, I couldn't really respect him and a big reason we broke up.

IYes. Boys always kiss and tell and the girls always feel used. That is why I respect guys/girls that don't do either. i don't want to here the personal life of either. It just makes for more gossip.
