K- girls are always talking about how badly they want a really great guy, yes? They also always say that really great guys are rare (I'll agree with this). If we assume these two things to be true, then there is a 'shortage' of guys. Girls I know always talk about how badly they want that special guy, and how much they deserve it. This will sound callous, but I find it a legitimate point- do they deserve good men? There are some women I know who wanted to date me for years, and I always turned them down because they did nothing to command my respect. I am friend with many girls- they all talk about wanting great men, but as I see it, they seem to want it on a silver platter, like they DESERVE it simply by being them. If great guys are a rarity, strive to be a rarity in yourself- this is what I believe. Do you agree? I'm asking this because I have to vent my frustration in a non harmful manner and to see what other people have to say.

I'm not saying this to be racist but I work in Los Angeles high schools and I see that although there are many beautiful curvy latinas, there are also many who are tiny, (like 4'10 and under). I was wondering why that was the case. I would like scientific answers only, nothing stupid about taco eating or anything of that nature. Those kind of answers will be flagged.

Ok I was talking with a girl last night. She has been my friend since forever not gf. The other night I was walking home from work (I always do), I work in the downtown near a university and on my way home two different groups of women avoided me as much as to walk to the other side of a three lane street then back again as soon as they passed me in both cases although I passed both of them separately two blocks from each other. I don't believe that I look that scary and I was wearing good slacks, black boots, a nice shirt, a blue nike hat and some headphones for my mp3. I was watching my feet because it was cold and I was using my shirt to protect my face against the cold. I am 6 ft and rather strongly built which is why they would be afraid. I thought that girls should be able to defend themselves and she says that they shouldn't have to worry about rape. Secondly, I don't ike being treated like a monster because I am built bigger. It is not my fault that I am bigger. Who is righter?

I know Yellow fever is big all over the world but for some reason its especially huge in the former British colonies like the US, Australia, and Canada. Every time I go to one of these countries I see all the men going after Asian women and bypassing all the other women. In such diverse countries such as Austalia, US, and Canada why have Asian women become the most popular women? When I visit these countries all the men seem to be talking about is "hot Asian chicks", and now I hear that Asian pornography is now more popular then porn with other races of women. Whats going on? Is this admiration or has it become an obsession or fetish? Is this a new phenomenon or has this been going on for awhile now. And is it ethical for an older men to leave their wives to shack up with a much younger Asian women?(I’ve seen a lot of that too)

The judge told him to leave the modest house he is still paying mortgage for which he now traded for a tiny appartment in the bad part of town, while you still reside in it, recieving alimony and child support. You won he lost, in short standard procedure for about half of all men who signed a marriage contract.
How do you feel about the fact that one day your sweet boy(s) might grow up and marry and end up divorced and just as miserabel as your ex ? You do not care ?
Do you tell them to never marry ?
you dont want them to leave you in the first place ?
you hope they will find a woman who is better than you are ?
do you preach to them that a marriage is all about a womans needs and to forget what they want and to do whatever it takes to keep her from cashing out ?

And, what is wrong with compilmenting a women who is dressed nice, hair well groomed, smells nice, looks pretty, without it being construed as being sexist?

Some women are prudes on this, does it make any difference if the man is good looking or not?

I'd like non-Britons to comment on this, too, so let me give a very brief outline, in case you're one of the few people who are lucky enough to have never heard of CBB. It involved a few B-list celebrities, who agreed to spend a few weeks in a house, live on camera. The latest series was generally perceived as boring, except for a dislike that three British, female contestants had for an Indian contestant (a Bollywood star, Shilpa), which led to allegations of bullying and racism.

The Bollywood star is an example of how women used to be in the West: old-fashioned, unreconstructed, feminine, flirtatious, coy about sex, classy, etc.

The three bullies, on the other hand are post-feminist, sexually liberated, careerist, with a conspicuous lack of subtlety or tact.

What I'd like to ask is, is the typical, post-feminist woman a disappointment?

(Unfair to use the two examples above only, as Shilpa is better than average for an old-fashioned gal; and the terrible trio are worse than avg.
