I'm not saying this to be racist but I work in Los Angeles high schools and I see that although there are many beautiful curvy latinas, there are also many who are tiny, (like 4'10 and under). I was wondering why that was the case. I would like scientific answers only, nothing stupid about taco eating or anything of that nature. Those kind of answers will be flagged.

It's partly genetic, partly diet. Look at the growth spurt in American youth after the war years were over. Same genes, so what was different? Good food. Just watch your next generation latinos. Hell, I keep running into 6 foot Asians with muscles. Where the hell did they come from? Their parents are 5 feet tall. Sorry, no racism, dietism, etc. Look at the facts! Forget all that PC crap. It's turning America into a society of drooling twits.

They're decendents of ancient Mayan or Aztec indians, which were short people in general. Door openings in ancient pyramids have been found to be barely over 5' tall.

I guess its kinda like saying why so many asian women are so short to. It has to do with the genes and sometimes diet. Tho honestly I think hispanic and asian women are growing bigger these days. In fact I used to work with this hot girl at wal-mart who was 1/2 mexican 1/2 chinese and pretty damn tall. Probably around 6'ft! Tho she'd usually wear thick soled shoes so I'd say her true height was maybe just under 5'11'ft. Thats still quite tall tho.

Sometimes it's genetics, but it could also have to do whether or not they had enough nutrients growing up. Malnutrition can prevent people from reaching their potential growth.

Because of their geographical region in which they evolved, and cultural preferences that favored shorter women with nice hips and butts.
