Men are more likely to be STRUCK by lightening? What on earth makes you think this is the case? I'm not saying it isn't, but where do you get your data?
EDIT--"fslcaptain"--No one crawls up on the roof to fix their cable; you call the cable company. There is nothing on the roof to "fix". The cables are run through the ground. You must be thinking of old fashioned antennas (from over twenty years ago), and surely men were just as likely to crawl up on the roof to get the game back on. Do you have any evidence to prove otherwise? And what does ANY of that have to do with feminism?

Scenario: A woman is watching Desperate House Wives. Things are going great, a sleezy woman just dumped her husband for another man, and oh- whats this? Janet has been cheating?!... When suddenly, the cable goes out. Damn. Well, looks like its time for fatso (husband) to get off his lazy *** and go climb onto the roof and fix it! I don't care if its raining and theres a thunderstorm going on! I want to know what happens to Janet and Larry- who cares about my husband? So poor...we'll call him fatso, cause thats what she calls him secretly...climbs up on the roof to keep the peace...and is struck by lightning!
Consider how many times its the other way around. Never. And even if the woman doesn't watch Desperate House Wives, it may just be a ploy to get his house and car.

they are more likely to be outside in a lightning storm. Playing golf, mowing the lawn, fixing things the wind blew down, etc.
There is that forest ranger guy in wyoming or somewhere that has been struck about 7 times already.

because men are those idiots that stand outside, drinking beer, looking at the cool lightning. The same people who are those who film the tornado up close, then all that's found of them is the camera.

Women have enough sense to go Inside when it is storming outside.
