While in bed you only need one thing and you have it but in a relationship you need millions of things and you will never have them all so you need to compromise and then you have problems because men and women never want to compromise on same things.

I would piggy-back on the other answers by saying that there seems to be a correlation between having an awsome sexual part of the relationship and having too much insanity in the relationship. It's not always the case, and,....remember, awsome sex isn't everything.

Out of bed is the real work of relationship. Expectations, compassion, putting self interest aside, sharing, roles, money, values, religion ... all of that takes alot of maturity and work.
Being in bed with someone requires no intelligence or depth.

Because when you are in the bed, you are not thinking about the relationship; nothing is mattering while having sex.
