Yahoo! posted a story about the 'Duke Lacrosse' rape case. I read quite a few of the comments posted. I noticed that the genders and/or races of those posting the comments were so obvious. Many African-Americans made it obvious they were defending their'sister'. Many Caucasians and/or men made it obvious they resented the 'whites' and males being assumed guilty, (which actually makes sense). Many women assumed the men guilty and the woman raped.

Isn't it terrible when justice is overshadowed by politics? Shouldn't the men be innocent until PROVEN guilty just as in every case, (despite race or sex)? Please, in all honesty, do you view this case with biased eyes? Should guilty men be set free to please Caucasians and/or men? Should innocent men be convicted to appease African-Americans and/or women?

My first impression of a tongue ring is that it has do to something with sex. Am I right?
I was surprised to see this girl that used to be a goody goody and now had a tongue ring.
Are tongue rings done mostly for oral sex?

...why are so many hundred women still raped every minute? Do you think that teaching women that a 'low blow' is a 'garanteed' escape is giving them a false sense of security? Why aren't women informed that a 'low blow' doesn't usually paralize a man, but merely stalls him? Isn't that information detrimental to the safety of women?

I saw this kid all alone in school so I walked to him and hit him in the nuts from behind with my umbrella. I didn’t even know him; I just wanted to find out how it feels to hit a boy there. He collapsed on the floor in agony, turned pale and then was not reacting anymore. I got scared, so I just ran away and watched from a distance. A group of kids saw him and called the PE teacher. I got close like I had nothing to do with it. Then after a while the paramedics came and shocked him in the chest once and then they placed a tube down his throat and carried him to the ambulance!!! Everybody was asking what happened to the boy, I was sooo scared that I could not even speak, I just walked away and threw up. The whole school is talking about it.
What happened to him?! Was he sick or something, my girlfriends do it all the time and I never saw nothing like this before!!!

So, in women's studies class today, and in my current relationship, we were discussing men being more dominant in conversation/relationships. For example, my guy tends to interrupt me, but when I do it, it's "obnoxious." Also, if I am the aggressive one in the relationship, its "Smothering", and he has to be the aggressive one. Now, hes a good guy, and I honestly dont think that is how he thinks, to be dominant on purpose, rather how he was raised, and society itself. Is it best just to move on from relationships like this, even if you care about the person deeply, and find more equality, or is there some way to approach this issue, something to read, etc. It has gotten to the point where being more submissive, (only in little ways like the above mentioned) is the way to make the relationship work...We are clearly equal in the main ways...Any thoughts, comments? No rude ones, please, only thoughtful ones. Thanks so much!

Newly divorced - not a kid - been dating on & off with this guy since April, but have known him for years - came on strong in the beginning, but then went "AWOL" - admitted he has commitment issues since ex cheated on him - was looking for casual sex - i never gave it to him - told him let's just be friends - called me about 1 month after that slightly drunk saying how much he missed me, knows that he hurt me, then went AWOL again for another month - called me again this weekend saying he misses me, but sober this time - told him i was slightly involved with someone else, and now he is coming on strong again - calling or texting everyday since last weekend - is it that same old story, he wants me now that i'm with someone else?

It is not just *your* body, it is your body that *supports another life*.

If you think and embryo is not a Human life, then what is is?
- It's not a refrigerator.
- It's not an organ.
- It's not a squirrel.

Just because you support something does not mean you should be able to kill it. Mothers support 1 year old infants that depend completely on them to live - but it is illegal to kill a 1 year old in order to make your life more convenient.

Being pregnant is not the choice of living human that is inside the womb - why punish it because it's inconvenient to be pregnant and raise a child - especially when having sex was a choice that the mother made?

Government does have the right to regulate killing other humans. It's not legal to simply shoot another person because you think it's convenient - so why do some smart women constantly say that the government should not tell them who they can kill, yet they want the government to protect them from being killed by others?

I've heard said that many people, including me, do their best thinking while taking a shower. I've also heard said that guys do their best thinking while sitting on the throne (toilet).

Do you think that it has something to do with "thinking better" when your body is free of constrictions (clothing)?
