I've heard said that many people, including me, do their best thinking while taking a shower. I've also heard said that guys do their best thinking while sitting on the throne (toilet).
Do you think that it has something to do with "thinking better" when your body is free of constrictions (clothing)?

I do my best thinking when I'm taking a bubble bath. I actually think it has to do with not putting too much concentration on anything else, so that gives you time to reflect on things.

I find that a hot shower is so relaxing that my mind wanders and everything seems clearer. It is kind of like a meditative state, because my eyes are closed and all I can feel is the water rolling off my skin (very relaxing like a massage). The sound of the shower also blocks out other noises, so it also creates a meditative environment.

I actually think best when I am driving, put me on the open road for a few days and I could solve the worlds problems!! lmao
As for mrhappys statement...his is the shower...mine is as I lay there naked in bed, or making dinner, or setting the table, or laying on the couch, or sitting at work...ummm do I digress? :)

i just tend to relax more when im in the shower and like to think of nothing atall. its the only bit of peace i get really having a shower. i tend to do most of my thinking late at night when im in bed or just laying on the couch with music playing low late at night

Good point. I agree. Restriction-free and privacy; I believe those are the keys. Also, it could be the soothing of water for some.

when i in the shower or shaving sometimes even cleaning, that is the best time for me to sort things out.

Nothing else comes to my mind that getting rid of that stinky poo-p of mine. Better thinking comes when I'm drinking my morning coffee in the kitchen.

yes i agree to it it is a place where you can read newspaper ,with full concentration,think about your important projects and compose poetry.,no it is not because you are naked ,but outside restraints are not disturbing your mental set up.
