Gender Studies - October 2006

She was cycling home from work when a little dog ran in the her path.
She slammed on the front brake and went over the handlebars and hit her chin on the gravel.

I had learnt her to apply both front and rear brakes but she said it happened in a split second and she could n't do much about it.

How do i get the blood out of her top and can a buckled wheel be repaired.

Any advice is appreciated.

her as hard as i could in her stomach,,why dont i feel bad at all ,i loved see her rolling on the ground gaspping and gagging so hard for air,.HISTORY-she stole him away from me while we were together behind my back..we are both in our early 20,s,,,does this make me a bad person?

I have to give a presentation at college about the feminist view of things, and I'm not entirely sure where to start. There a couple of things I'd like to talk about, for example, wages, and expectations of women. Also, I'd like to discuss some important feminists through time, and if they made an impact.

What I'd like, is if anyone here could tell me of sexism they may have experienced, for example, if a male collegue was getting paid more than you for the same job, and what you're views on feminism are.

Along with that, if there's any feminists you can think of, that made an impact somewhere along the line, I'd really like to know about them too.

Nobody is saying a single mom has it easy i want to stress that and make it that very clear.

I do tend to think that a lot of women cannot immagine what it is like on the other side of family court fence.

Worse yet is the refusal to even try to walk in a mans shoes in the family court system .

Men say a lot of things from our perspective make sense andfrom our perspective are equitable however they are shot down without any consideration.

15to25 years from now a lot of your children will be grown males.They will face the same challenges that men today face.When your flesh and blood male becomes a walking wounded you may not have a perfect understanding at that point but it will be closer .I hope your sons dont go through what men are put through today. If they do i just pray that at least it tugs on your heart strings just a wee bit .

I hope and pray you make the connection .

Why is it that Muslim women migrate to the Western World, (US, Canada, UK) for freedom and pease, but all they recieve is prejudism, ridicule, mocking, and people trying to change them? Even Prime Minister Blair said their vails were discomorting to those around them! Why can't people let them be?! Okay, just to start off, I am not a lesbian, I'm not in the littlest bit attracted to woman. Saying that, here goes, Since I was in high school I have had a problem with guys, I mean guys like me and I like them back, then when they go to kiss me or touch me I get really grossed out and want to vomit. I have slept with four guys in my life, (I'm 20 ) and these four guys have not grossed me out, however probably 10 + guys that have tried to get with me have grossed me out. One if these guys I felt I loved in my heart but when he touched me I felt sick. I was molested by my step dad many times as a little girl and this is all I can figure that comes from however why have the four guys I've been with not gross me out? None of these people even resemble my step dad or his behavoir and every time I find a guy I like, he kisses me or something and that's in, I know it won't work, can anyone give me some advice?
