When making decisions within a relationship, (including but not limited to marriage) what should have presedence, family (including those in the relationship and/or marriage) or politics? In other words, should decisions be based on the views of politicals groups, (Republicans, Democrats, Liberals, Feminists, Conservatives, etc...) or should they be base on the needs of the family?

My friend and her younger sister got raped the other day by 3 robbers who forcefully went in their home. She refuses to let other people know about it and we understand but we are afraid she may be afraid to go out again. She is naturally very shy, timid and not very sociable and what happened to her may make things worse. How can we, her friends, help her?

I'm not referring to a stubborn man that won't listen to anyone's advise. I'm referring to a man that has the mindset to solve a problem, rather than be lazy and assume his wife or others will. Do you find such a man sexy?

My last Q seems to have drawn some one or two knee-jerk reactions. I posed the question twice, which some people completely ignored.... Are some by choice? Are you by choice, a lesbian? Or you can NOT help it? That's all I wanted to know. Let me clarify... Yes, I've been in an all female college and I observed plenty! I like the way they look-masculine, and yes, some don't look masculine and they were paired up! I DO realize those generalizations, but You have to start with generalizations to create theories! What my aim was to test that hypothesis, but in no way did I expect a bludgeon hurling at me! Can I ask a question without being told I'm an idiot? I am merely info-seeking, not JUDGMENTAL! If you can't rationally read a question and think of a more reasoned reply, please don't reply!--Because I was in a study-mode, not a judgmental mode! Sorry truly to those kindhearted people out there I may have accidentally offended... :(

A) If a woman fears that her man will wrong her as many men throughout history have wronged their women, should she be in a relationship with him? Shouldn't she, at least, tell him her fears?

B) If a woman marries a man, shouldn't she give him all her trust and let go of all fears? Is it fair for the man if the woman says with her lips "I trust you as my husband", but in her heart says "what if he's like all the other dogs"?

C) If you learned, (somehow) your man/husband said he trusted you, but trully doubted you in his heart, how would you feel?
