I KNOW they do. I work for a man who isn't happy unless he is the middle of gossip and drama. If there isn't any drama....he will invent some just so he can gossip about it. I think he likes the sound of his own voice!!!
I kid you not, he gets to the office and is on the blower with people from soccer for about 2 or 3 hours GOSSIPING before he actually starts to get any work done.

Yes! My dad is the hugest gossip ever, and my boyfriend is nearly as bad; he always knows what is going on in the neighbourhood before I (I could care less, I believe in minding my own business). I've had loads of male friends who have been gossips, much more than female friends.

Men of course socialize in ways of their own. They will, however, undoubtedly deny gossiping to the nth degree, unless there are feminine qualities about the man. Men will talk about others.. but not to the catty and cruel extent that women do.

I wouldn't say that we gossip very much, it's more like getting updates on who is doing what, for women I think it's almost like a compulsive behavior, kinda like reading those gossip mags like US weekly, Star, etc. Men just wanna know what's going on with other people, and it's mostly just the facts, and not very much time is spent on it.

Sadly, yes!! And I know some who do it a lot worse then women. I recently broke off a friendship with the husband of my wife's friend, because every time we went over to their house, all he ever wanted to do was talk about other people.

Yes and I think they say women are to cover for themselves! (they're worse!) Think about it - any time you get together with the girls what's the first thing they ask .... (ok maybe 2nd after did anyone try to pick you up?...) they ask what did you talk about? give me the dirt? etc etc etc....
