I only read the book, and it brought out something deep within me... as to how easily foolish people, when wielding power, can condemn the innocent. I literally gnashed my teeth in anger when the judge proclaimed 'not one iota of medical evidence' to support the claims of the prosecution, yet the jurors unanimously found the man 'guilty... guilty... guilty... guilty... guilty... guilty.'

One of the best American books of all time. Written by a woman at a time when no one would ever take a female author seriously. Thought it was a "children's book".

I fell in love with Gregory Peck when that movie came out. I was 9 years old!

The movie was a little slow moving but I loved the book. I read it during high school, I took it home the first day and read it cover to cover. It sucked when I had to re-read it during class.

OMG! Love it. Absolutely amazing! A pity that was the only book the author ever wrote...

It was great!! I learned a lot of stuff from it.. Everything was so natural and .. well.. I caught myself wishing how much fun it would be to enter that scenario.. watch people, and get to know Atticus, Jem and Miss Maudie!
