Imagine a world with organisms with not two but three sexes required for reproduction.

Earth organisms are either asexuated, monosexual or bisexual, but it always takes one or two organisms for reproduction. Evolution made it this way.

What if the evolution of life elswhere in the Universe had developed a one-through-three-sexed tree of life? What would be the main features of each of the sexes?

Seriously. Why are people posting their drama-filled "does she love me" crap under a woman's studies category? This category is intended to discuss and ask questions relating to woman's studies such as: gender issues, race issues, glass ceiling, etc. Why would someone post under this category when there is a relationships category to post under? SRSLY.

Why do women let men force them to cover up?

As a MAN I tell them to TAKE OFF THAT VEIL
and get into a nice pair of tight jeans..a low cut top with flesh spilling over, and some high heals that are impossible to walk in.. That's more like it, ladies ;P

My husband filed for divorce 1 month ago. He left for Australia for a "job" on 10/10/06 he was off of the plane in Melbourne not 3 hrs and called me begging for money for a return ticket. I said no way. Somehow he made it back home on 10/16/06. I found out 2 days ago he has been having an affair, for a year, with a woman he met on the internet. She has been over here on several occasions. Supposedly she is wealthy. She had paid for him a 1 way ticket there and I dont know what happened to make him want to come home. He told me that the "job" would pay well and my four year old son and I would be very well taken care of!! What a sponge and a liar! I also found out my ex-mother- in- law knew about this and never told me! Now, she calls our mutual friends and asks them if I am being a good mother and if I'm keeping my house clean! Someone please advise!

My husband had an affair. I was 21 yrs old and had an 11 mo old and a 3 yr old. and was totally devastated. He cheated with a lady who was in her late 40's and married her. He picked the kids up on the weekends and I just couldnt get it together for a long time and ended up having sex with multple partners. Now I regret my actions. I ended up with a a std and finally settled down after about 5 or 6 years of total promiscuity. Does everyone go thru this or did I have a mental breakdown of some kind?

By definition, the current usage of abortion is a contraceptive procedure. Fathers have no rights over their unborn children. But if the woman decides to keep the child, the father is liable for child support. Upon divorce, women BY FAR get custody of the children, regardless of the wishes of the father or kids involved. Also, in many states/provinces, after living with a single mother for a period of time, the man becomes liable for child support to another mans children! Should the use of abortiion as contraception be a deal breaker to child support? Is it just me or, does it seem neither men nor children have any rights, neither before or after birth.
Comments, suggestions and opinions are invited.
My mother divorced my father got all his money, wrote out her sons from her will ang gave it all to my sister. While, my wife divorced me took all my money and my kids. The women of both my parental and immediate families have left all the men pennyless!

Today, with so many single mothers, (of all ages) and so many biological fathers living like single men, I wonder where feminism has taken us. Now women still carry and raise the children, but have to work outside the home as well, while men's duties have only decreased. It's as if men have manipulated feminism into giving them what they want. Did we really 'take it to the man', or merely play into his game? Do you agree?

There are many known single-parent families, where the remaining parent had to go out to get a job to support the family, and quite successfully raised children who had a healthy well-being, well rounded, succeeded themselves. And yet, many still fear a woman going out to work if she's married.

After WWII, there were many women who had to go out to work, thus discovered a life outside the home. Some of their children didn't turn out well, and yet we have to admit many did.

I don't beleive it's the women working that turns out people such as murderers, rapists, theives, codependent people, stalkers, insecure people, suicide victims, drug dealers, hookers, pimps, alcoholics, etc. I beleive it's the well-being of the parents, single or married, which determines the outcome of the child.

If the parents, are healthy, open-minded, creative, teachable, goal-oriented, teaches good values, virtues, etc., to their children, their children will grow in to good adults. Why the fear?

It seems like it's the taboo thing to say in public (think Larry Summers of Harvard), but I would say it is pretty obvious that men and women generally good at different things, yet the femmes seem to hate the idea. What are your thoughts?

Women are too much of a hassle. I'm thinking once you can buy a really hot female robot, guys won't bother putting up with all the crap chicks give us. Like the fembots from Austin Powers.

It’s not very common.
I think that women with black eyes are fascinating, it is beautiful. And it is strange, but I never saw a man with black eyes, why? It’s only a female thing or something?
Why yahoo avatars don’t allow choosing black eyes?

Is it possible that in attempt to free women from one standard, feminists can encaged them in another? Is it possible that in attempt to free women from past problems, feminists can entangle them in present and future problems? Is it possible that feminists could free women from the 'pressures of pleasing men', only to burden them with the pressures of pleasing feminists?

I want to know what your 'ideal' beautiful woman looks like. From dress, to appearance, to mannerisms. I'm hoping for true and honest answers. Not flattery or political correctness. Women don't like a dishonest man. I ask because I want to know how well magazines and TV know men's idea and taste of/for beautiful women. Again, be honest. I'll know what is a true answer, and a politically correct one.

My girlfriend got into a fight outside of a concert in the parking lot. I had been away from her with other friends. When I came up she was in the middle of a fight with another girl and the girl had by the hair and was hitting her. The girl was bent forward with her legs spread. I came behind the girl and kicked her groin as hard as I could. The girl immediatley yelped, fell, and started rolling around. I mean I kicked hard. Her hips came up from the kick. About two minutes into it, she started dry heaving like she was going to throw up and her face turned whiter and her lips got a little blue. My question is ... what was going on with the girl. I think maybe she was going into a little shock. I know a female self defense instructor who had told me that if I ever have to kick a girl, kick with the tip of the shoe, so that the nerve bundle will be pushed up into the pubic bone. I felt the bone when I kicked her. I think that I compressed the nerve tip up into her bone.
