Seriously. Why are people posting their drama-filled "does she love me" crap under a woman's studies category? This category is intended to discuss and ask questions relating to woman's studies such as: gender issues, race issues, glass ceiling, etc. Why would someone post under this category when there is a relationships category to post under? SRSLY.

Honestly, just to clarify here:
"How to tell if she is cheating on me," does not constitute as a woman studies topic. Take a college-level course and learn what it is all about and how ridiculous it is to post relationship problems under this headline. idiots.

What exactly does women's studies consist of?

Well as for myself, women's studies is what women generally talk about. (IQ has nothing to do with it) so I did a google search and found that it included information on education (there is already a board for that) that studies women in EVERY facet of life, feminism, gender issues, history, literature, art, music, and well a host of other topics.
And seriously, what is glass ceiling? How does race belong in a gender board?
Other than the obvious miss post, Perhaps they want what they consider an "expert" opinion about another woman.

I have a question for you?

What exactly does women's studies consist of? This is a broad topic to say the least.

That's just what I've been wondering. I've only seen a handful of questions that actually had to do with women's studies.

Simple, people know a lot of women will be viewing 'Women's Studies'. So, if they need advice on women, 'Women's Studies' is where they look. In all honesty, it's common sense.
