When making decisions within a relationship, (including but not limited to marriage) what should have presedence, family (including those in the relationship and/or marriage) or politics? In other words, should decisions be based on the views of politicals groups, (Republicans, Democrats, Liberals, Feminists, Conservatives, etc...) or should they be base on the needs of the family?

YOUR decisions in a relationship SHOULD be based on the NEEDS of the Family -- PERIOD! There is no excuse to bring politics to the table or the relationship -- the FAMILY and their needs (food, shelter, clothing, education for the children, utilities, etc) are paramount for the FAMILY's Welfare and success.

I think that doing what's best for your family is more important than political considerations. After all, politicians make their personal decisions based on their family considerations. As Shakespeare once said: To thy own self be true...

What he's making an attempt to assert is pay attention of relationships with people who stay for the 2nd, as you would be upset whilst an prolonged term dating would not artwork, as those style of people have no 'staying power'.... What a convoluted, long-winded piece of 'do no longer I galvanize you by way of all the great fancy words that i will use to take one thought honestly reported with some words, and blow it up right into a singular that opponents conflict & Peace".........clarification as convoluted via fact the writing is lol.......

As Gandhi said, "You must be the change you want to see in the world". Also what shakespeare and cheyennetomahawk said, "To thy own self be true".
"Freedom is not worth having if it does not connote freedom to err. It passes my comprehension how human beings, be they ever so experienced and able, can delight in depriving other human beings of that precious right." ~Mahatma Gandhi
