I think that men probably get raped and abducted a lot as well, but we only hear about women because men are to scared to come forward and report that it happened.

I don't think that females ALWAYS get raped or abducted. That is a blanket statement. Some women fall in love with a nice guy and get married and have kids etc. etc. There are very few women who get raped or abducted compared to normal relationships.
But I sure as hell don't believe that a man can be raped. Seduced, but not raped. I mean - if he can't or doesn't respond physically - he can't be raped.
Women's physical makeup is such that even if she doesn't respond - she can still be forced.
As far as abduction - unfortunately women are targets because they are women.

Well females dont ALWAYS get raped or abducted, but SOMETIMES it's because they arent careful, and many rapists and murderers are a lot stronger than them so they cant fight back like a man, they are looked at as helpless by predators.
Good point about it being a man's fantasy to be raped.

Your choice of the word always is far from correct. I am a male and have had the experience of being on the receiving end of a sexual assault. Children of both sexes are grabbed daily and frequently killed after being allowed to satisfy some perverted pedophiles lust. Many if not most women who are raped survive, not the case with kids.
Just as most people thought all serial killers were male, we are starting to find out the girls are doing some of these crimes as well. Note the female school teachers having sex with underage boys. There is far more of this than most people would believe. Just wait a few years until the stigma is relieved a bit.

Some of these answers are sickening.
Rape/sexual assault does not just happen to women. It happens to both sexes and it is NEVER the fault of the victim regardless of what they wore/said/did, etc. Rapists/kidnappers are predators. And it has to do with power and control. Not sex.
While statistics do put a lot of emphasis on female victims, males can be victims to. They're just far less likely to report because there's a stigma, and many are afraid of not being believed.
Hopefully that answers your question.

Because there are a lot of evil men out there who have psychological issues. They need to feel like they are strong, powerful, and dominant so they will exercise this against women who, unfortunately, are the weaker sex. It may seem like they are "always" getting raped because the sae been reoffend because they need to constantly be reinforced or reminded on how "powerful" they really are. Ultimately it just turns into a vicious cycle like we are seeing today.

While women raping men is relatively rare, it has happened.
It certainly is possible. Physical arousal does not mean consent for a man any more than it would for a woman who became lubricated during a rape.

The first reason, to be very crude but frank is that rapists are generally perverted b******* and are cowards as any criminal profiler can attest to.I suppose you have heard this often, but the primary reason that solitary sexual predators wish to assert their perverted idea of power and machismo on what they perceive to be the weaker sex and soft targets-women. The other reason may be that they may feel threatened by other aspects of gender equality and the steady rise of women's literacy and financial autonomy from the stranglehold of the male dominated society.Men's positions as breadwinners are now being threatened by the emergence of the emotionally strong and independant career women. Thus rapists and abductors see that they can only supercede women physically and some are sick and barbaric enough to exploit any chance they get to regress to the 'caveman' stage of human existence. Other complex reasons range from fear of sexual rejection and intoxication. Others may rape women to gain a psychological edge over their male relatives to comply with their demands (monetary or otherwise).Sexually explicit content feeds the growing perception of the women as a plaything to be had and enjoyed and discarded when they lose their charm. To sum it all up it is the power factor that is the leading cause of such crimes.

sadly because some men enjoy the power. Rape is about power over a woman and rarely about the sex itself. But just remember not to lump all men into that catagory. were not all pigs.

Women are considered the weaker sex, and they almost always have been. There's also more testosterone in men, and when that takes their brains, they go insane. It's completely idiotic, and I hate it. We need to raise awareness, girls, report sexual assaults whenever they happen. There are many more assaults than we know of because girls don't report them. We can't be afraid. We need to fight back. We can't live up to our reputation.
